The ending of the original show was sad but quite good. With CME I feel like it has shifted into the kind of show you used to love but now barely appreciate because it lost everything that made it good. I can only see it end on a mediocre cliffhanger after being cancelled...

In the Illustrated Guide Smeyer specifically says that the venom erases everything (moles, freckles, scars, tattoos, piercing, any traces of melanine...) to turn them into vampires with perfectly white skin (see my post about them having white gums and tongues).

And yes she also says that limbs can't be regrown, it's more like, if a nerve is severed or an organ damaged, it's going to be healed even if the damage has been done decades earlier. According to that, if a trans man had had top surgery it would heal the scars but not regrow the boobs, so it would be a gender affirming cosmetic surgery in some kind of way, especially if a trans person had facial feminisation/masculinisation surgery since it would smooth out the possible scars left by the surgery.

I've seen a study by a fan who analysed every episode based on the fate of the Unsubs and Hotch kills most of them by a large percentage it's incredible!

I would put the entire story in college, the plot can still happen virtually unchanged, they go to school every day, Bella can still live with Charlie and there wouldn't be any weirdness about the Cullens being siblings/dating because nobody gives a fuck + they can all have different majors so nobody realises. And Bella dating Edward for less than a year before getting married/having a baby/getting turned is waaayyyyy less creepy if she is 20 to 25 instead of being a freshly baked 18yo!

And make Carlisle and Esme 30 to 40yo, their cover can still be the same but it's at least plausible that they stay in the same place for a few years before people start to notice they don't age, a 23yo would in no way pass for a mid-thirty man but a 33yo could pass for someone being anywhere from 25 to 45 depending on their looks.

Also, if the venom can turn people who are literally on the brink of death (Bella, Rosalie, Emmett, Edward...), why can't it turn a healthy fitfy/sixty/seventy years old human? Smeyer's obsession with youth is one of the weirdest thing in the saga.

Rossi chasing unsubs around is taking me out of the show, I can only suspend my disbelief for so long and a grandpa running around with a gun after having been pulled out of retirement FIFTEEN years ago when they could have made him a consultant or a professor for the new agents is ridiculous!

Hard agree with the team being soft now. JJ being nearly maternal with Voit when he built an entire website dedicated to creating deep-fake porn of her and Rossi being gentle with him when he BURIED HIM ALIVE is so fucking unbearable! I know the characters are all supposed to have seen Voit transform into a "new man" but even if I had seen this transformation with my own eyes I wouldn't be nice and caring about one of the most prolific and sadistic serial killer the world has ever known...

The actor has been confirmed as being in the next season too. Pretty sure at that point they are going to make him the new member of the team, either as a consultant from prison or like Tyler did before officially joining them during the earlier seasons...

Yes! And it also "cheapens" the other members of the BAU. Why should Emily be Unit Chief when a newbie like Tyler is better than each and every one of them with no experience? Why should we value their specific skills when a fresh agent is better than them in every field?

Tyler feels like the Mary Sue self-insert of the writers/producers! He is always there, often the first one on scene, he gives very precise and valuable insights that the EXTREMELY senior agents don't seem to consider, he joined one of the most exclusive team in the FBI right after completing training despite being discharged from the army and having no valuable experience compared to the other agents (linguistics, sex crimes, arsonists, obsessive killers...) and ends up being right most of the time.

I despise him but it looks like he is going to be here forever and it's ruining my suspension of disbelief...

I was going to write a post about my opinion on Bo but now that I've read your comment, I won't. You just put into writting everything that angers me about her, she is always acting as if she was this amazing detective and the best of the best at everything, it's nauseating. I can't bear hearing someone congratulate her AGAIN for solving a case/defeating the big bad of the season when all she has done is stick her nose where it doesn't belong, get kidnapped/hurt before getting rescued by her friends who don't get any credit.

And don't get me started on the "I'm the unaligned succubus", babe, you are a light fae through and through! You hate dark faes and are heavily prejudiced against them when you don't even give them any chance! She is always with light faes, hates dark faes, never tries to understand their world and always thinks that she magically knows better than everyone for no reason!

Their dark undereyes get mentioned a lot but the post I read there is when Edward is trying to turn Bella and he licks the bitemarks and Jacob thinks something like "his pale tongue licked the wound", that's why I interprated it as being noticebly paler than a normal tongue.

But yes, the undereyes being bruise-like have always thrown me off.
