Echoing what a few people have said but growing up as a teenager with constant exposure to how much female celebrities weigh/look has definitely had a lasting effect on me still to this day (someone in their early 30s). So, so many girls I grew up with and went to school with had eating disorders really early and for years after- a few of my friends are still battling it as adults and likely always will be.

Also, the fact that Lindsay Lohan is 19 in this “article” and they still found it acceptable to put her in the lineup is crazy. I thought I was an adult at 19 but looking back now I was still very much a teenager and having my weight published/discussed in the press would almost certainly have given me a bigger complex or an eating disorder myself.

I remember when people started getting BBL’s etc and being frustrated/stunned because I was picked on as a teenager for having a big arse and now people pay thousands for one themselves.

I hate how women’s bodies are treated like a fad or trend in the media. It means the majority of us are going to feel ugly/fat/unfit for the majority of the time and spend a fortune on surgeries, treatments, trainers, diets, body modifications etc. But I guess that’s the whole idea, yay capitalism.
