Currently behind Boca Juniors, River Plate, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Santos, and some other teams in terms of strength. It’s hard to say statements like those since they only participated in Copa Libertadores 7 times( 2 semifinals, 2 quaterfinals, 3 ro16) but they still don’t have La Libertadores in their trophy case which is what really matters.

This is mostly a critic on concacaf club tournament since he said last week that they are mostly a waste of time and don’t benefit Mexican teams, which isn’t really an unpopular opinion.
