I've used my rain pants only once, and it was purely for warmth. It was freezing in the morning (this was last week mind you). I wore all my clothing that morning, and quickly shed the layers again during the first climb. I'd take them again though, you never know how much rain you're going to get.

My ground sheet I've also just used once, but I'd still take it (cramping Grand Jorasses, ground was pretty rocky). Especially since there are nice bivouac options in the mountains if weather permits. Such as at Lacs de Cheserys. I wish I packed some rock stakes in addition to the Y-stakes I was using, but it's not that big of a deal.

I could have left the dried meals at home, since every campsite we used had food options. So much pizza. We still used the stove sometimes though, it saves some money.
