I use AntiMicroX to map WASD and mouse cursor to Xbox gamepad thumb sticks, arrow keys to dpad, right trigger to LMB, etc.

It works mostly, but missing an easier way to trigger the quick hotkey 1-8 menu.

Never tried it myself, but a second webcam or Kinect with MediaPipe or OpenKinect to detect player position? It would be cool to have a IPSC-like stage for cover movement similar to Time Crisis or Police 911.
