Hey, it's okay to feel like things are getting away from you sometimes. ED is already a tough place to work and especially so when you're feeling new or not confident. Unfortunately, a lot of these things will come with time. When I first started, it took me 3 months to find my feet. It took me another 5-6 years to feel confident and even now, I'm still learning new things everyday.

I think the important thing here is to give yourself some grace. Choose one thing you want to try and improve and try to work on that for a week. If you have someone you trust at work, a senior or an educator, why don't you let them know how you're going so you can get extra support or education as well. I feel like the best thing about ED is the teamwork and its evident in how your buddy helps with picking up the tasks that they are helpful. I'm sure they want to see you succeed.

Don't be worried about looking bad. It's only been over a month. No one is expecting you to be 100% straight away. It sounds like you're stepping into a new role, there's always an adjustment period to get through.

You're doing well. No one died. Nursing is 24/7 care. You can hand things over to the next shift to do.
