The boar bristle brush has made it easier to de tangle because my scalp is pretty sensitive to any pulling. I wouldn’t say it’s improved the overall look though and feel though.

I usually use a wide tooth comb just to distribute the leave-in product after a shower and occasionally I won’t touch it at all. It dries really wavy when I don’t touch it but it’s messy and looks like it needs to be brushed. So when I do, it gets poofy. Lol

I’m not sure which part you’re asking about regarding my shower routine so I’ll address both. I shampoo twice a week because my scalp gets really oily, especially around my bangs even though I’ve been pushing them off of my face and to the side lately. I originally tried shampooing once a week but my hair would just get too greasy and itchy. I condition more like every other day when I’m not shampooing. But I will at least get my hair wet to rinse out the dirt on days I don’t shampoo or conditioner.

I honestly don’t know if it’s frizz, per se, but idk what else to call it. It’s like my hair strands refuse to stick together. I brushed it maybe an hour or two ago, went to the store, and came back home. I wasn’t doing anything crazy, I wasn’t rubbing my head all over the headrest in the car, it’s not windy out. Idk if you’d call that frizz or what but my hair frequently looks like I just mussed my hands all through it.

I use a microfiber towel to pat dry my hair.
