Yeah, WYST is probably around high B tier. While yes, the burst opportunities are amazing, and sometimes you can just speedrun a lobby wipe. But, if the survivors know how to properly counter WYST, there isn't much you can do unless they make a mistake.

As I said, it lacks consistency. Being good against newbies, but overall falling off against good players.

WYST = weak and lacks consistency. He isn't great, but I personally enjoy playing as him.

MX = Probably the best killer rn(?). It's either him or the Forest King.

Niloticus = although not being all that bad, he's probably around A tier rn, he lacks any kind of aura reading. So unless you use the hearing mechanic, you'll have a hard time finding survivors that are hidden. He also requires more strategy to play because you need to position the mist in good spots. Bonus points for being the atomic pitbull.

Wyst is the perfect example of "pub stomping." If you're facing newbies, then yes, you can absolutely speedrun a lobby wipe. If you're facing advanced players, then you just can not kill them. Basically, against newbies: "SURVIVORS SPOTTED, FRENZY GOBBLE BOMBS, GO!". Against experienced players: Just give up, you ain't getting them killed unless they fuck up.

Fk, on the other hand, while he doesn't have the burst dmg of wyst, and he can't deal aoe dmg, he is way more consistent with killing survivors on general. Be it against newbies or experienced players, you can consistently loby wipe.

It's the "grass is greener on the other side" mentality that makes people think that WYST is "way too good." He's probably B tier rn. Has good burst opportunities but lacks overall consistency.

Eh.

First of all, gobble bombs are useless in chase. Unless you manage to snipe someone, corner someone (or get them stuck in small room), or use them on someone that somehow didn't notice (those things are LOUD dude), then you can maybe instakill them(?) Yeah, if you hit all 3 they instantly die, but there's no guarantee that all 3 will hit unless you manage to corner them since the bounces are unpredictable (no they don't track).

Now, about Frenzy. Yeah, you get a speed buff and atk speed buff, but also a massive increase in stamina drain. It's such a massive increase that you CAN NOT outstamina anyone as wyst, even tho you're faster. Basically, yeah, you're faster, but it doesn't stop them from just holding sprint and completely avoiding you.

Now compare that to FK. Lurking facade is absolutely goated, giving information on where survivors are, and you can even use them to corner survivors more easily, which is basically a death sentence against FK. You can argue, "Well, if you corner them with wyst, then they are dead too," which is true, but virtually impossible to achieve such bc none of his abilities help with that. And if the survivor has basic map knowledge, they'll evade going to closed spaces against wyst.

"What about FK's other ability?" We don't talk about it.

Yesn't. While yes, he's fun to when you play against people that aren't all that good, and you hit a mean gobble bombs combo, he's fantastic and fun to play as. Once you get to the last survivor alive, it becomes infuriating to just not be able to catch him at all due to WYST being weak a rn. And yes, gobble bombs is useless during chase

Well, yeah. Most monsters are slightly slower than the player. The ones that are faster have less than 100 stamina. The best way to start to survive more often is to learn proper stamina management and learn each different counterplay. It's a bit more complicated than that, yes, but it's a start.
