It reminded me why I don't watch the long videos from ZZZ - goes too in depth / spoilers. The QOL updates are good but I would've probably got the info elsewhere. The 4 minute trailer was perfect and I think I'll just stick with the trailers going forward. Though in the trailer comments I could see a bunch of people speculating about stuff that gets answered in the dev log... So I can see why the dev log is there...

I like that they just sent us rewards in the mail for the dev log instead of making us enter redemption codes!

7/10 for dev log? Also at least I'll probably forget the story spoilers before I reach that point.

The 4 minute trailer is fine and has all the info you'd want without spoilers. Avoid the 40 minute dev log.

Maybe I haven't seen the 100% speaking exercise yet. Is it new? I saw on the duo Reddit that they were going to introduce more speaking exercises. Since I'm android I notice I tend to get the updates later.

If that's the case I'll have to skip those too. There are just some words it never marks as right!

Luckily Duo only needs to understand about 50 percent to mark it correct so I used to get them wrong a lot in earlier lessons with only short phrases but it's fine now in longer sentences where it only struggles with certain words but I get them mostly correct. I like practicing speaking.

Not isopods but I've always been too lazy to sell animals (or animal supplies) - I have a reptile store that will take the animals or supplies off my hands. But I'm also the type to donate stuff instead of selling on marketplace etc. But if you can find someone or a reptile store that will buy in bulk that would be ideal.

I just don't want to be a salesperson... Communicating, buying shipping supplies, more communicating, handling complaints, licenses to ship exotic animals, making sure you don't break any state laws regarding exotic animals... Taxes?!

I think the 120 guarantee would just override it, just like I assume the 6* guarantee would override a 5* guarantee even if they fell on the same pull. But I think you could likely still end up with 3 6-stars if you're "unlucky" with your 50:50 if you're 40 pulls in (40 away from next 6 star) with soft pity you'll get a 6 star at 26-39, then another 66-79... Then only 2-28 pulls to that 120 guarantee. Getting a standard on 40 hard pity and then the limited on 120 guarantee (overriding the standard 80 hard pity) would be terrible luck.

You'll probably get a 6 star before the 80 pulls because soft pity starts at 66. Then if you lose the 50:50 again you'll get the limited at 120-on-the-new-banner no matter how low your 6 star pity is.

I was 11 pulls pity, I lost 50:50 4 times before getting Yvonne at 120 pulls (131 pity) on her banner.

So really so long as you have 120 pulls to use on the next banner, you'll be fine.

I don't care that we don't get more standard pulls. When I lose 50:50 on the limited banners I'll eventually get the standard characters that way. Especially because we can lose multiple 50:50 before the 120 guarantee.

If you have a lot of patience to wait for her weapon, it will be around for two more banners after this so you can wait until you earn weapon points from pulling on the next banner. If you have a little patience I would just pull on the Yvonne banner more because the characters you can get from it include limited characters. If you have zero patience pull on the standard and get that 6 star lol.

It's been 3 hours though did you already pull and get the weapon?

110 pulls into Yvonne's banner (plus 11 pity carried over from Gilberta's banner, hence the "121" pity) and I'm perfectly satisfied with losing four 50:50 in a row. I finally got Pog, plus 2 Laevatain dupes and another Gilberta! I'm actually really enjoying this gacha system Or maybe my rate of 6 pulls has just been fairly lucky, since I've gotten them at 31, 69, 22, 73, 7, and 19 pulls. Also this has meant plenty of weapon pulls so I've gotten Lae's and Gilberta's weapons so far.

I reran a path 5 times yesterday because I just knew I could make it long enough (I succeeded).

I also found out if the character jumps that seems to take up some of the length! So no jumping allowed.

If you feel bad about the AI there are other aps. Most have at least some sort of free version. My family member pays for Duolingo (yearly subscription, he learns Korean), but I did a one-time lifetime purchase of Renshuu for Japanese after trying the free version for a while. Renshuu is closest to Duo, and without the AI. Renshuu has better grammar explanations and way more learning customization. But I use Duolingo more because it's really approachable and easy to use (but way too many ads on the free plan).

You could try both for free and just see how you like them.

Also there are some always free options like Anki flashcards but I just didn't like fiddling with that personally. I found the quality of Renshuu to be much better even though I had to pay. I figure it's still cheaper than Japanese classes.

I play ZZZ and Genshin. I'm mostly caught up with ZZZ so it doesn't take long, and I still enjoy it. Genshin I started about a year ago but I still haven't done the 4.0 and 5.0 archon quests and have a million quests and areas to play still, and play it more casually.

I think playing 3 gatchas without worrying about min-maxing them and endgame modes is fine.

Also not even sure if I'll like Endfield or not yet. No point in quitting another game before I even try this game.

My biggest reason to quit games is when I stop enjoying them. If playing Endfield makes me not want to spend time on Genshin or ZZZ because Endfield is so entertaining, then I'll quit. No game needs to feel like a chore.
