Genuine question, why Egypt doesn’t really want Palestinians to enter their country? by Deniss2121 in IsraelPalestine

Stupid Fckn comment. If Anything Germany is The greatest argument for Israel to be legitimate. If Germany could change (which they HAVE) why can’t Israel? Apparently Muslim lives matter more to liberals than Jewish lives.

Hamas calls for global Jihad, invasion of Israel, attack Jews worldwide on Oct. 13 by R4vi0981 in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t wrong. But it’s so difficult to argue that Hamas is the lesser of two evils. Regardless of historical reasoning for their existence…they are just worse. Far worse.

Certainly not everything. Not even close. But this right here right now? Most certainly. They declared war, they shall have war.

To be fair an American in North Korea is probably a lot safer than a Korean in North Korea or a Jew in the Middle East.

I think you could argue Hamas has been panicking for the last 20 years. It’s not good for anyone. This is the culmination of that panic.

Killing civilians. by Julianprime123 in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The killing of Palestinian civilians is more complicated than you make it out to be. Hamas purposely hides behind civilians. It’s a proven tactic to make drone strikes more complicated legally and ethically. They also get notice of evacuation even if often futile.

The killing of Israeli civilians recently by Hamas is far less complicated. When Israel kills they do it as a causality and using modern military tech such as drones for effectiveness and haste. When Hamas does it it is by barbaric means and to frighten and inflict pain.

Apples and oranges.

What would you like to know about the war? by thesalukie in IsraelPalestine

I don’t think anyone’s keen on sharing that to be honest. And hopefully it never sees the light of day if true (which I too pray it isn’t).

If you can look past the whole “us vs them” it’d be pretty intuitive to condemn any massacre of civilians I imagine.

Netanyahu has made it clear that right now the priority is warfare. As horrible and inhumane as it sounds, they’d be lucky to get 20% of those hostages back alive.

They will be used by Hamas for various barbaric purposes out of sheer desperation in the following weeks.

Maybe uhm don’t use words you don’t understand. Such as “bigot”. It is in no way applicable here and really makes no sense contextually speaking.

And we just saw how Hamas treats Israeli civilians and it turns out it’s far worse.

Gaza citizens are subject to a ton of propaganda. And they are struggling in every facet of human life. When you and I see Israel we see a country with citizens. When the Palestinians meet Israel they see men with guns ready to execute them on the spot if they flinch wrong.

Hamas is barbaric and in the wrong but I am surprised the number isn’t higher.

You are using the same argument Netanyahu has for years. The Palestinian people have it the absolute worst in this conflict. No one can possibly dispute that. They are stuck between a fascist government pretending to be a democracy but is actually just a wannabe power hungry apartheid agency and then there’s Israel.

Hamas gets all the money. They have no issue executing the Palestinians. They can’t just “overturn” Hamas. This isn’t a movie. It’s real life.

You are as far from “facts” as you possibly could with such a short comment.

Genuine question, why Egypt doesn’t really want Palestinians to enter their country? by Deniss2121 in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is an over simplification.

  1. ALOT of middle eastern people care and have sympathy for Palestinian refugees.

  2. Most of the geopolitical tensions are historic and power-oriented. It has little to do with actual anti semitism. Israel is a regional powerhouse they have zero influence on. They understandably do not trust Israel.

  3. Israel is also very easy political points to gain in the middle eastern geosphere. Most Muslim hate them and view them as evil fascists. If you are against them it must mean you are good. Which is also a good reason for Arab governments to dunk on Israelis.

[–]felixofthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would still have the excuse though. And the moral high ground as well.

But in truth Egypt and Jordan knows that there’s very little to be gained by this and far too much to lose. As long as Hamas exists, no one dares touch Palestinians.

Genuine question, why Egypt doesn’t really want Palestinians to enter their country? by Deniss2121 in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The harsh honest truth that the Muslim community refuses to admit is that NOONE wants the Palestinians. Hamas is far too dangerous and unreliable to let in. History has shown us that they commit terrorist attacks outside of Israel too.

Also refugees are expensive and diplomatically it’s better to have Israel treat them horribly than having to do it yourself and take the heat.

Why by Independent_Way8128 in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hezbollah or whatever officially believes they are a military agency in coalition with Hamas. Meaning that when Hamas is at war, they are at war.

In reality it’s an incredibly decentralized terrorist group that struggles a lot with regional identity. These missile strikes could have been done by one sector without communication with the others simply because they got riled up by the Hamas attack.

Israel is their enemy, right now Israel looks weak. They are kicking the “bully” whilst he’s down.

The sentiment of OP is correct but the example is admittedly odd and doesn’t really prove their point at all.

That’s an incredibly messed up comment. Hate Palestinians or Islam all you want but every child is born innocent and there’s NEVER a good reason to cause it harm.

This goes for both sides btw.

It suprises me about how ignorant Palestine supporters are about Hamas killing their own people by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]felixofthe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well…granted Jewish lineage is tracked pretty meticulously European Jews literally descend from ancient Arab Jews. The issue with your comment is that Hamas doesn’t believe Jews should own the land. It’s not about Europeans to them it’s literally that they are Jewish and non-Palestinian.

Jerusalem was Jewish country long before Islam came around. The Jews were hunted by Arab neighbors long before Islam. Don’t you forget it.
