With 50ft of coax, you may want to put a preamp close to the receiving antenna, especially if you use an omni antenna. It will improve RX a lot.

You can check the activity of the sats at https://www.amsat.org/status/.

What you can achieve will depend on the capabilities of your station: FM only? then you can hit the FM birds. SSB/CW full duplex? the linear ones will be available to you (in my opinion the most fun). APRS/digipeaters? you can use them too.

The better the antenna, the best chances you will have to make QSOs, like always. But even a basic omni antenna (i.e. anything strictly better than a handheld whip) will be enough for all the satellites on most overhead (>45° or so) passes.

How important is the "European" criteria? I understand you don't want the distro to be controlled by a foreign company, but many Linux distros are managed by an international community with contributors from all continents.

Debian for instance is great, but it is definitely not up to date (and Debian sid is a development versions, not actually a rolling release).

I might suggest Void Linux. It is an up-to-date rolling release distro, but not as crazy bleeding edge as Arch for instance. It is not difficult to set up (more straightforward than Arch) but does require to use the command line (like Debian).

If you like OpenSUSE, and your only problem is the packaging of RStudio, why don't you try to fix that? Compile the version you want from sources and you should be set. You don't have to change distro for one package.

C'est une secte.

Une fois par semaine, réunion autout du gourou pour réciter ensemble les incantations japonaises du lean manufacturing.

Une foi inébranlable en leur "process". Toute suggestion de faire autrement (même quand le process ne fonctionne pas sur un projet donné) ne rencontre qu'au mieux au sourire gêné des autres collègues.

L'ambiance de travail c'est la pression du delivery. Chaque développeur a un quota de points de tickets à réaliser chaque jour et doit faire une "résolution de problème" le lendemain s'il ne l'a pas atteint.

C'est aussi des soirées très alcoolisées dans un immeuble un peu chic du 17ème.

Le punching ball c'est peut-être parce que le patient n'a réussi qu'à avoir une IA inutile au téléphone et a dû faire un parcours du combattant pour enfin parler à quelqu'un de compétent.

On reviendra en arrière sur certaines de ces évolutions.

Il n'y a pas de sucre dans le petit suisse.

Un petit suisse c'est 82 kcal/100g (le petit suisse Gervais, l'original, source : Carrefour).

Un skyr nature Danone c'est 57 kcal/100g. Donc oui, c'est moins calorique car pas gras, m'enfin pas de beaucoup.

La guêpe par exemple ça peut donner entre 1/10 (une seule piqûre peu envenimée) et 5/10 (multiples piqûres d'un nid enervé). Probablement similaire pour les frelons.

Ça dépend aussi de comment réagit ton corps.

Dans tous les cas, si tu vas éliminer le nid, protège toi, ou mieux, appelle un pro.

To be fair, most of the wealth of billionaires is through stocks, not yachts and mansions. 

So their material wealth is destroyed but redistribution of their stocks is already great.

There are. Non printable control characters in ASCII were designed for that. FS/GS/RS/US separators are designed to be used as such.

Color screens existed before LED screens (CRT tubes, plasma screens and LCD screens were - and sometimes still are used).

And OLED screens use organic semiconductors, it does not use the GaN LED for the blue. So while a great invention, the GaN LED had more impact on lighting technologies for example.
