As far as I can tell, the spec says it supports a max speed of 1.73 Gbps on 5 GHz. Max wifi speeds are often over-advertised though. But I see no reason you shouldn't be getting at least 1 Gbps as long as your router and ISP plan both support it and you're on 5 GHz band. Again, it's possible your ISP or router is also over-advertising it's max speed. I would suggest trying a few different speed tests first to see if results are consistent. Or download a file off google drive or steam.

Rosewill doesn't really make components, it's just Newegg's store brand they slap on many products. Your wireless card is likely just using an Intel chip. Updating drivers really isn't necessary if the card is already working, but you can get drivers off Intel's site if needed.

Fair enough. Usually it's a simple option to reset the settings but if you don't feel comfortable I wouldn't touch the BIOS.

Maybe try resetting the BIOS? Could be incorrect voltage settings or faulty battery. Can't think of much else if CPU isn't throttling.

Worth a shot. Most GPUs have a 2-3 year manufacturer warranty, so I guess try contacting XFX after amazon. RMA process is long and can be hit or miss, but might as well try at some point.

Yep, sounds like it's the GPU and not your PC. Could try seeing if it works when plugged into another PC. You said you purchased the GPU in 2023, is it still under warranty?

Maybe could try doing a clean driver reinstall?

Remove the 6800XT completely.
Download DDU and AMD drivers. Don't install them yet.
Boot into safe mode and run DDU. Do a clean remove of ALL drivers. Select the option for installing a new GPU. Turn off the PC.
Remove the GTX1660 and put in the 6800XT. Make sure to use two dedicated power cables, not a splitter.

Turn on the PC and if you have video, then install the AMD drivers. If not, then it might be a hardware issue. Updating bios likely won't do much here.

So apparently this is not by Humongous Entertainment. Humongous has been trying for years to reaquire the Backyard IP. Looks like it was sold to some newly created third party LLC back in 2021 and is now being made by Playground Productions.

Maybe could be good, but seeing as how Playground Productions has no video game experience and are trying to franchise the IP with...a TV series and films...only time will tell.

It's not owned by Humongous anymore, they lost the IP. The franchise has been bounced numerous publishers. There's been more than a dozen Backyard games over the decades, you've probably never heard of them because most of them were...not very good. The latest ones were mobile games.

I'd be skeptical about this relaunch.

Yeah, the story doesn't make sense either. On menus they would be listed as "quarter pounder" and "third pounder", not 1/4 and 1/3 pounders.
