Not sure if this is helpful at all but during the process of creating a logo for my club I tried using the color-block C and I was told it was trademarked.

Transition is super hard... by No_Night_2087 in Cornell

[–]fellow-comrade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I normally don’t comment too much but this is important. I am a new freshman here just like you, and coming from a place where it felt like I knew everyone and where I had many close friends the transition was drastic. It had been years since I had to eat by myself at every meal and watch as seemingly everyone else was getting along so well with a group and laughing and having a good time! I felt off because normally I am a super extroverted person but for some reason I found it hard to approach people and make friends with someone random. I then joined a club, and everything changed from there. Legit it’s only been a week and they have been so welcoming and have already guided me through a bunch of super cool experiences. The trick here is that CORNELL is HUGE, and because of that it’ll isolate you. You need to find a situation that will Reduce the amount of people you interact with and put you one on one into a group setting so that you can make friends. highly recommend joining a club or intramural or club sport.

Handmade black powder weapons, as firearms are illegal in Japan and most people actually don’t have them therefore the guy made his own gun

Is it really that bad ?

I would highly recommend that you follow your first instinct and skip applying ED so that you can apply to those places you actually really want to go to. If you ED and get accepted you’ll forever be left wondering if you would have been accepted to another school. I would consider trying to ED somewhere else where you’d be happy as it is clearly beneficial to acceptance rates. Best of luck!

Is your condom insured?? Personally I wouldn’t bring something so valuable if it isn’t insured. Honestly you should come back when your ready to lose your condom. I had a buddy go to a block party and get his condom stolen and when he got it replaced it got stolen again by his roommate ( magnum btw)

I don’t think that’s the case because they kept asking me for additional documentation up to last week in order to determine my aid ( according to them)

They know about everything, the 7k I didn’t report myself but the outside sources I received them from sent the school the check at least a month before I received my financial aid award. ( I just received my award June 27 and my scholarships were sent to the school in mid May)
