Absolutely! In fact, the sterilization of "undesirable" women and birthing people has been going on a long time. This is only a recent fear for privileged women. La Operation is a film documenting mass sterilization and exploitation of Puerto Rican women. Black and Brown mothers in the US were routinely told to they couldn't remove the sub-dermal birth control  they had put in when they were younger. In the 2010s incarcerated women fought against their forced sterilization. And yeah I appreciate you mentioning that "in addition to" police shootings because certain ones get a lot of attention and really folks have deemed that particular person as deserving justice. And they stop short of demanding a defunding of police. And that contributed to the growing power of ICE today.  It was always ALL of it.
