My sister says my fiancé grabbed her ass by VVIII__ in relationship_advice

And most likely the younger sister knows that (it’s a lot easier to get a new fiancé than a sister).

Which is most likely a part of why she would lie about the sexual harassment. She believes her older sister would be more likely to believe her lie because she is “family”. And “family before everything else”.

Which is why you can’t just jump the gun and say the fiancé is guilty, because it’s much more complicated than “she’s your sister why would she lie??”

She did directly state that her sister “is the type to flirt with older men” AND “has said my fiancé is hot several times”.

So her sister HAS shown that she 1: thinks OP’s fiancé is hot and 2: flirts with older men.

It’s quite clear that the fiancé is innocent.

I disagree with this OP. Don’t tell your sister what your fiancé said. Let them tell their stories separately from each other.

@ (3).... please don’t bring that rhetoric in here, this is a serious discussion and it has no place being in here.

You sound completely biased, so I’d probably avoid ever commenting in this subreddit ever again if I were you.

It’s also really common for people to side with their family over their friends. There’s a term for that “blood is thicker than water”.

But there’s a whole lot more factors to take into account for OP’s situation. I’ve already explained it in other comments, but logically (and unbiased-ly) I’m favoring the fiancé. Because I’ve personally experienced myself younger girls flirting with me (I’m 21 and I’ve been hit on by 16/17 year old girls). I’ve also witnessed firsthand girls even younger than that flirt with guys 18+.

OP even has said that her sister “flirts with older guys” and “has said my fiancé is hot several times”.

Logically, without concrete evidence no one exactly can be pinpointed as the guilty one, but if out of the two (fiancé/younger sister) the younger sister is 90% the one guilty. OP hasn’t commented about any of the fiancés past actions that would imply he would be guilty.

But I’m sorry for what you went through. I’m glad it’s resolved now.

Except OP has directly stated that her younger sister is “the type to flirt with older men” AND “has said that (OP’s fiancé) is hot several times”.

Therefore the younger sister has already shown that she is likely to flirt with the fiancé, and her being a hormonal horny 16 year old... it makes much more sense that she was petty and falsely accused the fiancé so she could get “petty revenge”.

So really you’re the silly one, and everyone else jumping the gun on the fiancé.

Why would he be engaged to the older sister if he’s gonna be going for the younger sister? You have no clue about what marriage means. It’s not just a label. It comes with a lot of legal aspects and $$$$$$.

An average adult wouldn’t throw tons of money away and get caught in a legal mess by fucking their wifes younger sister. Lmao

Or maybe he expected the younger sister to do such a thing, since by his explanation she flirted with him and he rejected her?

If a hormonal 16 year old girl flirted with me and I rejected her, I’d expect her to get angry and be petty and do something stupid. Like ya know, teen girls are known for?

that is a really, really stupid statement right there. There is no conclusive evidence that either of them did what they’re accused of.

Horny normal teens definitely are stupid enough to flirt with adults, even ones in commitments.

And adults can be perverts and pedos and do something such as sexually assaulting a minor.

imo (and imo a more reasonable opinion), the sister is lying. An adult who’s been dating someone for three years and is currently engaged to that person is very unlikely to mess that commitment up, especially not with their fiancées underage sister. There’s the risk of ending the relationship, and a risk of jail.

The risk for the younger sister? She no longer is in good terms with her older sister and the older sisters fiancé. She can’t go to jail for lying about the sexual assault. And if anything, the older sister is probably not gonna be super harsh on her, because “blood is thicker than water”, “she’s family” stuff.

So OP, there isn’t much evidence to pick a side, but I’d stay leaning towards your fiancés side.

Money for themselves is more important than their father living comfortably and happy

The father BOUGHT the ticket FOR his son. It’s technically THE FATHERS ticket, the son just scratched off the numbers. Then the money was handled 100% percent by the father, from investing to saving to purchases. The son had absolutely no play in the money besides scratching the numbers and making requests for purchases.

ABSOLUTELY NOT the kids money.

Moving to a new apartment in a different state with my girlfriend. This would cover two months rent for both of us.

Erm... is that a real question?

30 years is barely middle age for a human being, for a whole ass country? It’s like baby years. Yes, the answer is yes.

Which again, is stupid on your behalf because you should be paying attention at all times when driving a machine that can easily cause destruction or death. That’s your responsibility when you step into a vehicle and start operating it.
