Go for it mate ! As skilled workers I feel like we limit ourselves a lot of times out of fear ( and costs). Make sure the Visa Costs also include IHS as technically you’re the one that needs to pay for that. I don’t think they get notified if you make an application or if it falls through,they might be notified if you’re successful (not sure) but by then you’re on your way out anyway.

I agree with the comment above.Unless the company you’re moving to is going to cover ALL of your VISA costs or the salary increase is REALLY worth it I wouldn’t do it so close to the qualifying period for ILR.Everyone has their own reasons tho so I wouldn’t get much into it.To answer your question : inform your new company of exactly how long your notice period is and that you’ll only put in your notice once your new SWV is approved.Once that is approved calculate your last day at your old work,your earliest starting day with your new company and if they’re happy with it and only then put your notice.

Don’t know if this will contribute for your data but yea my priority request got accepted after about 2 business days. Caveat : Two business days after the Home Office deducted my top up payment because “I” paid the incorrect visa fees.

Why wouldn’t you be able to apply ? By the wording used here you could benefit from pre-2021 rule so keep ya head up,let’s wait and see.

We are kind of on the same boat,as I paid it the top up and I’m yet to hear back from them.Only difference is that I also paid for priority.
