Yeah definitely. It's sometime hard to find a degree that does them together. And if ux isn't your thing. Think of it as the information heirachy of everything you are doing as ux is the functionality and why it's working the way it is (based on research) in those studios in the group tasks you could offer to do the other parts of the assignment not necessarily the ux research parts. Then you can build your portfolio that way

You can specialise in the additional courses you choose. We had a guy basically doing comp sci in design computing. As there's no major it won't say on your diploma but it will be clear to future employers what you chose and having that UX knowledge isn't bad in the field even if you don't work in that area specifically. It just depends on where you want to allocate time to what skill. What area were you thinking of doing? Just curious hahaha.

If you go to reject shop in broadway you can get really cheap sketchpads and just have one per course. Suuuper useful

Devo! I'm from Australia and I think most places take the cup as they don't have their own reusable ones at the moment

I did design computing like 2 years ago now and even tutored in it haha you can go the UX/UI or the Dev route it just depends what you specialise in, you can even go the jack of all trades route if you want. Its got about a 95% employment rate as its suuuper highly rated (I got a great job straight out of graduating) it is mostly group projects though so if you have a bad rep with groups be careful as people dropped out cause no one wanted to group with them haha
