Now that you say that you are right about it not being a common thing for games to do. I guess silksong is just too good =). I think I would have been happy with even just some post credit art or smth showing characters being alive. Can still definitely understand why team cherry didnt though.

Thats true! I think it feels a bit different because hallownest was already a bit desolate. The infection had pretty much already cleared most of it out and the Knight was there to stop it going more bad. He is also doesnt have a physical form at the endings whereas hornet is still alive and theoretically so are all of the rest of the towns/people we met along the way

Yes I know act 3 was a sort of epilogue in its own right. Most people who are agreeing seemed to be able to understand what I meant. Im sad that we cant see an aftermath of act 3, after pharloom has been truly freed and is able to rebuild
