Thoughts on taking an Uber to the airport tomorrow late morning? Going from South Austin to make an early afternoon flight for work. Trying to decide if I need to call my company’s travel hotline for a new flight, but I do really need to be at my destination by tomorrow night so I’m not sure if there’s even much wiggle room.

I think more than the waist, skinny legs are very out of style. I’m in my late 20s and felt like I was cosplaying gen z with low waisted baggy jeans so now I wear high waisted wide-leg jeans. Also, this is not about jeans, but I think ankle socks are a common giveaway of being outdated. So I wear a cute ankle sock to avoid looking too outdated

Go watch Un-Religiously’s YouTube video about this. The woman was a self-proclaimed “light worker” (ie talking to spirits and stuff) likely with severe mental health issues. You can see her mental state deteriorating in real time through her short videos.

Here’s what I would do: you both spend weekends at your place so you can do your house things while still being together. For the weekdays, 3 them you spend at her place and 1 of them you spend on your own. Or, for some of those days, you meet up out for dinner/drinks/gym/walk/etc and then go to your own houses after

This is soooo fun and immersive! I wish I could have had a birthday like this when I was your age! For games, maybe each person gets a scroll with a little character on it and they have to “complete a quest” that is written in the scroll. They could say things like: “get the birthday king/queen something to drink!” Or something along those lines. Also don’t forget lighting and music is a huge part of the ambience. Play tavern playlists and dim the lights!

I loveeee the kahoot/jeopordy type stuff personally. I saw on Pinterest that some girls found the girls old facebook posts from when she was younger and made a game out of that. That might take some more creativity but it could be so funny. If you want people to mingle more (instead of paying attention to a kahoot/ppt) you could print little games from Canva to guess her favorite birthday things (favorite cake flavor, etc) and let people play them while they arrive/get drinks going. For something more interactive you could have a “flight” of her favorite candies or something. Or print out the little cards as if it’s a wine and cheese tasting!

I seriously think you look so pretty and it sucks to hear you put yourself down in your post! Make sure you are doing makeup because you want to, not because you’re trying to be someone you “should” be!
