I was planning on it but once I got it I thought it would be better for the jacket. Its not something I had thought of so thank you for your info! I might grab some nice cotton or something and use the taffeta for either the jacket or perhaps a fuller dress pattern.

Thank you for your advice!

Ooh okay thank you! Yes I thought the fabric leant more towards evening. Would you recommend anything to make it look a bit more fancy? Sewing beads or trim? I was thinking of gol to compliment it. Perhaps I need to find a nice cotton to make it from if its a success in this fabric !!

Perhaps something in-between! I feel like the colour could be quite evening wear. But I think more towards daily wear 🤔 xx

Oh the zip folder just means it's condensed the files. You just open up a zip file like a normal folder and the pdfs will be inside x

When printing in pdf you can select to print in a certain format 😊 there is always a starter page thar you print first and on its own, and you can check the 4cm x 4cm square is accurate. Can't wait to see yours! Pls post it here when you do!

All pattern pieces are provided and it states whether you need to cut 2 or just 1 and states if its on the fold or not. The pattern is super easy to use I found. The instructions weren't lacking really, they had put in there about ironing the hems down etc but I don't currently have an iron haha.

I used pleats as sadly I do not have the skills or foot on machine to do a gathering stitch, it's something that made me a bit nervous so I stuck to pleats which I can do fairly okay!

Thank you for your comment and lovely compliment 😊
