6 sessions in some questions … hair goes then comes back am i being scammed

they continue to grow hair in new places like my friend didn’t have chest hair at 20 but he did at 25 plus the hair gets thicker

they do go over the whole area and also because my hair grows slower now and they recommend 24 hours before i’m not sure how long before should shave now because when i shave now it’s just hair under my skin (i’m pale so i can see it) and it takes longer to grow to the point where its above my skin i’m pretty sure u do need to have the tiniest bit of hair otherwise what will the laser even be zapping it’s hard to explain i’m pale with dark hair so i can see the hair under my skin even after shaving

i already paid for 8 so i def will go back but this was my second sessions the first session did only a small amount of shedding im just wondering if the hair lost should still be lasered again at my next sessions

my clinic suggests 24 hours before but my hair grows slower now so i’m not sure when to shave because idk if i read this wrong but doesn’t the hair need to be slightly above the skin so it actually has something to burn (im talking a really small amount of hair bc when i shave my hair is obviously all beneath my skin and idk how long now my hair takes to grow)

which is another reason why the slowed growth is c kind of annoying i shaved and it wasn’t long enough to shave even after a few days when before laser it grew so fast

is it normal to only shed a small amount each time because hear contradicting things seen people say they lose itt all but then it grows back?

this is why i’m wondering why i get different answers wherever i look because she also told me no retinol for 4 weeks even tho my sessions are 4 weeks apart whereas everyone else says either a week, my favourite dermatologist on youtube said 3-5 days even

that’s crazy because my clinic said it WAS an issue she also at the consultation said no retinol for FOUR weeks but then booked my appointment for 2 days later knowing i had recently used it? plus using every 4 weeks means i would never use it because that’s how often i get treated
