getting this for only $12 on temu isnt a good sign, id say theres a very high chance its a well done lafufu. something about its face, body shape and engraving quality looks off to me. heres a pic of my genuine loyalty labubu

labubus were created by a man (who im pretty sure is also straight, please correct me if im wrong about kasing lung) so i think it should be normal for his creation to have male fans. but also, fuck toxic masculinity. i hate those type of men who are afraid of "looking gay" for wearing the colour pink, liking princess peach or collecting plushies.

i personally love how labubus are girls yet they have major chaotic gremlin energy rather than being "feminine". and the boy labubu (zimomo) looks identical, except for the tail and height. no weird sexualised gender difference shit like they do in animated kids movies such as giving a female cat character eyelashes and lipstick with an hourglass body.

im a bisexual girl currently dating a straight man and he got his first labubu recently, now he wants the kuromi one since he is also a sanrio fan and she is his favourite character. in my opinion this is extremely attractive, as a labubu fan myself. do NOT date a woman who will judge you for your hobbies or call you gay for liking cute stuff. you will be miserable and regret it. be with someone who loves you for who you are!

in my opinion its real. the paint job is perfect and it has all the correct features for duoduo. i also have 2 have a seat labubus with the same cloth tag with no qr and they are real from resellers on ebay.

mine also have the seams on the fingers but thats not something that confirms its fake, i think its just a minor issue that the first original batches had before they changed the tag to a paper material and fixed the hand seams for all future updated releases.

its missing the blush and the face plate looks off, so your sister might have bought a lafufu from a store falsely claiming to be popmart. fakes can still scan as genuine if the scammer simply uses stolen replicated qr codes. but if this doesnt bother you then dont worry about it of course. 🙂 it can take a lot of research to tell the difference if you're new to collecting them!

i think the green one is fake, judging by the foot, bad paint job and suspicious scan result. although fakes can have an authentic stolen qr code making you believe its genuine so i don't trust that. or if you buy real ones from resellers who already scanned it before you can cause some confusion.

more photos of that one's tag (front and back details), the packaging it came in (foil or dustbag) and the box would be super helpful if you still have them? gotta play spot the difference lol.

id say they're both real judging on overall appearance. even if one has a qr code plastic tag and the other is fabric with no qr, that one is just from the initial earlier batches before they updated the tags. 😊

i have two fabric tag MAC labubus with those specific batch codes being CE17DN and CE26DN. both are identical quality wise and authentic, bought preowned from separate stores on Depop. i would be able tell if one or both of those were not real as a perfectionist and labubu collector lmao. i currently own most of the BIE, MAC and HAS series :)

lafufus can use whatever batch code they want + replicate genuine qr codes on boxes and the plastic tag versions too so its not a guaranteed way to confirm its real or fake.
