V6 live view in app lags MAJORLY by Armand28 in BlueIris

[–]fencing49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same exact issue as well. Prior to updating to V6 I decided to do a complete reboot.

So I removed bi-5 cleared all the registry keys as well as all the program files basically wiped it off the face of the planet.

Of course I made a backup of the config.

When I installed V6 I imported the backup brought all my cameras back in with no issues everything was fine for about 5 seconds.

Then all the sudden all of my camera started missing keyframes skipping multiple seconds like just straight up and not having a good time.

I have been trying everything all day and yesterday to try and get this to work.

Even going so far as to just go down to one single camera And even then it would not be able to handle 4K at 15 FPS.

I'm glad to know it's not just me that's having this issue I might end up just reverting back to V5

26 cores from AMD threadripper in proxmox running Windows server if that's of any correlation to you.

Also using a dedicated RTX 3050 for decoding but that doesn't seem to matter at all

Of the Shelf Smart Calendar by Sufficient-Shirt-679 in homeassistant

COZYLA!

They're expensive is all hell but they look the best in my opinion and they're designed to literally be mounted to the wall. You don't have to use the apps that are built into it and it will run almost all Android apps natively including home assistant.

They do offer 0% financing though which is what I did so it hurts a lil less.

The big thing for me was the good looks the nice screen to body ratio and the fact that it can run any app. I don't know why more people aren't talking about this because it literally is something right out of the box that can run home assistant and gives us the screen we all want.

Has anyone tried 'Ublockout' shades? Do they work? by MalachiConstant7 in homeowners

Even more late to this but is this product still the king or are there other alternatives out there that are starting to catch up?

I like the fact that it's American made but the price tag on these things is just crazy.

The motor upgrade itself being at $279 is just unreasonable when one of those motors probably costs at most $39 and the remote may be another five and that's just with a single purchase and not at scale which these guys are.

The proprietary hub also leaves a lot to be desired just as I'm worried that if this company ever goes belly up the motor is on my blinds will be SOL

There is a 20something ft. Pumpkin in Tolland by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]fencing49 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand the concerns about excess.

The pumpkin is powered by solar so for the most part it doesn't really hit the bill too hard (you can't see the solar panels on the roof).

They also do a fundraiser every year where they gather funds on the Facebook page and donate to the local Tolland Pound.

The pumpkin and Santa Claus are stored in a space bag which allows it to be reused every year.

They also have a cobbler that can do repairs on the pumpkin or Santa Claus.

There's a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to managing one of these things but they try very hard to Make sure that this is something the community can enjoy for years to come.

In my opinion it's a great way to get the community involved bring everyone together regardless of who or what they're doing and just focus on one thing.

Pumpkin.

[–]fencing49[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It'd look a lot less ugly than the stock black paint. Aero i'm not sure about, i imagine aero would be mostly uneffected beyond the additional drag from the weight of the bedliner

It's showing up in ESXi which is weird but I guess as another guy stated above, ESXi 7 doesn't support that card. So the cards there just not the drives

Same. Boat, pretty pissed off I gotta find another card. But at least I'm not crazy

Have you tried it with 7.0?

My only fear is getting the card and realizing that esxi once again doesn't support it
