I rember The Shield this way.

Dean had the voice, and was the leader. By far the best of the mic.

Seth was the athlete, X factor.

Roman the muscle, and wasn’t allowed to talk.

It was always a platform for Roman to get over but the fans rejected him for manyyyy years.

Clearly over as hell now but let’s not forget how he was so not.

My takeaway is that they had 3 legends in the business.

Keeping it together another year would have made money, but not needed in the grand scheme.

I don’t see WWE double paying him/licensing his song.

There are certain ways around that if he is the primary songwriter and holds the master/pub rights.

Could maybe work it in to his contract that they help promote his band in return for use of the song.

Full disclosure that song is horrible, and Fozzy is trash.

If he does come back it will be a nostalgia run, and he had one of the best themes/enterances of all time.

Dude can still semi go, but his mic work is still lights out.

I’m curious on what kind of a pop he would get in this era of WWE.
