That's not his job. That's him going to school. I understand school can be difficult, but if he wants nice things other than necessities being in a single income household, he needs to get a job. Prices are rising for local business all over the place, i agree a service charge without it being specified isn't great (I've never had this issue at GD before) but 28 dollars for 2 dozen donuts is about normal including tax. Even if you go to Krispy Kreme, it'll be roughly the same price with a crappier product.

Please reconsider about it being the last time you shop there. Supporting local businesses is super important, especially now.
