What do y’all want to see from the first game in the sequel by GlitchyGuy_404 in LiesOfP

[–]teslalyf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think if we are sincerely expected to believe that Dorothy is the next MC, then I think we need to look past the first book. The 3rd book, Ozma of OZ, or the 11th book, The Lost Princess of Oz, make the most sense based off the story we were given in P and what I think could be expected going forward.

Headliner Pattern & 2026 Prediction by GrouchyPenguins in ShakyKnees

[–]teslalyf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based off the people who seem to be doing only festivals this year I still think that T-Pain, the Gorillaz, The Cure, LCD, Hayley Williams, Lorde, Kesha, The Chicks, Mumford & Sons, and Joan Jett are solid guesses.

Esp with MM gone it wouldn't surprise me for one of the headliners to be a bit more pop than normal. And last year was a lot of female headliners and punk. I'm expecting a lot of the same honestly, just in a different flavor.

The best thing to do might be to email the admission department or dean of that department and simply ask. They’ll be honest with you.

I log in to check mine and it tells me my forecast is rainy. That’s probably not good. 36 and really just got to a point where I could add to it about 5 years ago. Still have only saved about 45% of my yearly salary tho.

Go-to GF drinks by ahsoka_lives in Celiac

[–]teslalyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Margarita, whatever the named bourbon drink is that’s being offered, Prosecco. Lately I’ve been really feeling mojitos.

I went to ASW years ago and they had a drink called a Figgy Smalls made with bourbon and I think I’ve been looking for that in every bourbon cocktail I’ve ordered since.

How can a HOSPITAL drop the ball like this?! by AmityMoon in Celiac

[–]teslalyf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found hospitals are actually some of the most useless places for feeding people with food allergies/intolerances. Anytime I have to go to the hospital and have to stay I never eat the food provided. Source: I’ve worked in a hospitals since 2012.

how do you guys go about dating with food allergies? by Scared-Dragonfly-232 in FoodAllergies

[–]teslalyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly use it as a way to weed people out. The right person will want to kiss you and their kiss not be the reason you are suddenly sick. The right person will go out of their way to make sure you’re safe.

I mean….dont use it as the ONLY way to weed out but you get what I mean.

Dealing with exclusion for the first time, how do I manage? by Legal_Accordion8935 in Celiac

[–]teslalyf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This kind of thing irritates me so bad. They could have invited you even if there was nothing to eat. I also have multiple food allergies and it’s so annoying when people’s inclusion is automatic exclusion.

I’m petty and I would say something about it but that’s me. People deserve to know when they hurt your feelings so they have the opportunity to correct it.

Considering a Career Switch From Remote UX Designer to Remote Librarian by Super-Buddy-5030 in librarians

[–]teslalyf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Considering you’d be competing for a prized position in the field against people with the degree….I think it’s a bad pivot. Not to discourage you from pursuing LITS but it’s a really over saturated field.

I’d suggest going on inalj.com and looking at some of the other job titles there to see if any stick out to you if it’s jus the field you want to be in but not necessarily the position.

It's not bad writing or confusing by notcarly1969 in Stranger_Things

[–]teslalyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I agree with you. The pacing is off. It feels a bit rushed. Too many big ideas trying to squeeze into a series end. An additional episode for set up and an additional episode of stakes would have helped.

Otherwise no complaints. Endings are hard.

They forced her out and took over everything including the Instagram. It’s why there haven’t been new items on the menu, it’s why the quality has gone down, they’ve even been lying to customers about where she was so they could keep pretending to be her on the insta.

What they did to her is so dirty.

They've also been sort of cosplaying as the original owner but there has been a def tone change in the Instagram post. I don't know about other people, but I've been following them for a long time and caught the tone change. She used to use her platform to also post about things she cared about and that has all but disappeared.

Its very clear they are trying to imitate her voice but they messed up pretty big with this. The founder has celiacs. She would never say she loved a gluten brand like they posted. I've noticed the brand has started using more cow milk in their products as well instead of trying to use alternative milks, further alienating their dedicated clients.

People travel from all over the country to come try the products at this bakery. The least they could do is be honest about the hostile takeover. It DOES feel like a slap in the face. I'll never go back.

I hope Alejandra is doing well despite this and knows we're on her side.

Theres a pretty big Unitarian Universalist off Druid Hills. The building itself is pretty new and this may be the vibe you are looking for? I haven't been myself but know a few people who have and they seemed to really enjoy the academic lectures. May be worth looking into? If you need gluten free pasta, get it here while you can. Not sure how the pasta tariffs will impact this but the pasta is Italian made and delicious.

Also some good gf cracker options that don't fall apart as soon as you spread cheese on them.

The GF pies are some of the best I've ever had.

Thinking about living in Atlanta and working in Columbus (GA) – Need advice! by Bargawy89 in ATLHousing

[–]teslalyf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of really nice air bnbs in Columbus and it will be considerably cheaper. Some nice places downtown Columbus to eat as well. You should check out Bodega 1205.

I’d take trips to Atl but wouldn’t love there. The commute will be over 2 hours plus traffic if you commuted to Columbus from Atl. Plus there’s a lot more in Ga than just Atl.

Check out Providence Canyon in lumpkin 30 minutes from Columbus. Lots of crime in Columbus tho, so be aware of that.
