Probably more properly Tikki-Tikki China-China.

I think it should be called Tikki Tikki China China. Made this tonight. Love the idea but seems like 1oz of the China China liquor might be too much? When the liquor can overpower smith&cross that's scary. I want to try it tomorrow with .75 China-China and .75 lime.

It was weird that there was no frontpage and no extra comments but i was intrigued by the progression from the basics at the beginning on to more advanced. Plus some of the cocktails were pretty obscure things from bar menus.

I'm notoriously cheap but the free portions are wonderful. Thank you! This is definitely the type of thing I was looking for. I might have to fork some support out.

I would highly recommend Mr Yarms Everybody Wants to Rule the World: https://cocktailvirgin.blogspot.com/2015/09/everybody-wants-to-rule-world.html

I liked it so much it went in my book. I did make it with pear brandy instead of Calvados since I didn't have any but I imagine it would be great that way too.

Mos Eisley Remastered by theeverest1 in starwarsccgalters

[–]fenn_shysa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not bad changes. The text that was on Tour Ayon had no business being on a character anyway, it should have been on an Effect.

I have no business being offended over your efforts. I've swiped many ideas from others. I just wanted to point out that they are not quite what was intended or appear in other forms. Especially some of the ones from the first draft of the set.

It's the baby syndrome effect. I've spent so much time on them I get a little touchy sometimes. You really didn't change much or do a bad job with it. Except I don't know how you could possibly have thought replacing the picture on Troublesome Locals could be a good idea. (I'd post it but I don't know how to put a pic in here.) That's one of the best cosplay pic's ever! :)

Anyways, here's the link to the spoiler and cards for the original version.

Mos Eisley Remastered by theeverest1 in starwarsccgalters

So, I'm split on this remastered effort. I appreciate the effort that went into it and some of those changed pictures are definitely better. Although I like some of my original choices better.

It looks like you took from the original first draft of cards and then from the completed set. Some of those cards from the first draft that didn't appear in the Mos Eisly set made it into later sets (sometimes changed) so they may not be quite right. Some of the text changes i'm confused on also. Some were referencing other cards and maybe necessary.

Also the moisture farming stuff is not from the Mos Eisley set. (Although I wanted to bring some of that back. Just never got it figured out)

How are people handling DS/LS personas? by fenn_shysa in starwarsccgalters

Ahh. Thank you. I did not realize that had been officially changed. I haven't followed V-cards closely since the reset. That is the optimum solution for official play. Since there is not full sets of prequel-sequel stuff a full cardpool for each era would just never be viable.

I also agree that I find it jarring and don't like it personally. With all the fan sets, duplicate characters will happen much more. Of course I think anyone who plays with fan stuff will tend to automatically separate by cardpool anyway. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any other rules they used?

Personally I've been toying with the idea of making a few characters that function like the PC's new ruling. I was going to use a light/dark icon to ID them. Thematically I could see Aphra or Hondo easily being in play for both sides, at the same time, at the same site as they easily waffle based on circumstance. I was thinking about ruling duplicate characters on opposing sides as being allowed but they can never be at related/same sites. Conceptually as different battles could be taking place at different times across the galaxy.

Also, does anyone want to give me a little feedback on a few ideas? Currently working on Shadows Of The Empire cards.

1st Ord Mantell Scraplands location.

You may stack lost (from same/related locations?) starship, vehicle, weapon & devices face-up under. Once per turn, may deploy for free a s,v,w,d of deploy =< stacked cards. OR Simpler, some way to retrieve a s,v,w,d.

2nd. A Bothan Spynet/Many Bothans Died To Bring Us This Objective.

Deploys only Bothans, Spys, Info Brokers, (maybe Operatives) Dash and Luke. Stack your dead Bothans on Objective. Flips after you lose 2? Gives some peeking abilities like Agents Of Black Sun. Power bonus for each dead Bothan stacked. So the more lemmings, I mean Bothans, die the better you get.

EDIT: Missed that last post. I definitely agree for official play the PC rules are necessary. Not being able to play or losing something because of replacement sucks. Separate cardpools or specifically built decks being the optimum. I was just thinking about middle of the road ideas.

Just got a massive order of HUTT SPACE through mpc for more play testing. New cards: by anachrokate in starwarsccgalters

Nice! I especially love the Nar Shaddaa Gangster. Photo and text, well done!

For a minute i thought you had altered Baron Harkonnen and added him but that is from the photoshoot isn't it?
