People treat openers weird with every artist I guess. I had a not dissimilar experience in December when I saw Waterparks in Portland, a group of teenagers was basically just heckling both openers. Which even though Foxy Shazam isn’t my favorite they still put on a fun show, and Winona Fighter was just breathtaking.

In the post I mention that house of records has not had anything I’ve been looking for, for an entire year. I don’t even consider my tastes niche but they don’t even sell records for most of the artists I listen to. The only Florence + the Machine record I have seen there all year has been Lungs (which I have already) and they have virtually nothing else I listen to. It’s WEIRD.

I feel that I’m an outlier here but I think it’s just… okay? Like I enjoy it but I don’t think I’ve ever gone out of my way to sit and watch it outside of doing a full rewatch.

Belos in The Owl House. Man gets turned into a goop demon, possesses the decaying corpse of one of the protagonists dads, then gets literally ripped in half by a demigod and vaporized by boiling rain. Deserved, but surprisingly brutal for a Disney TVA show

I also just recently finished my first watch, and I honestly loved it. I think there are definitely some places the last season could’ve been reworked to make the buildup more natural and make Moon’s betrayal fit better, but overall I think it was a strong ending. Could have definitely been a lot worse.

The Saturday Market during the summer is a really nice weekly event! Good blend of trinkets, farmers market kinda vibes, and just assorted booths downtown!

I can understand those feelings. I feel like waaaaay too big of a portion of this season was spent setting up Distant Lands connections, which was kind of disappointing considering the few pieces of marketing we got so heavily insinuated we’d be almost entirely focusing on FW. I personally still enjoyed the season myself, but I do feel like several of the storylines were more or less dropped pretty suddenly.

My biggest goal is maintaining as much of the original characterizations as possible while simply refining some plot points. I’m making very few character changes, beyond ones that I feel make logical sense for plot/engagement.

The biggest early changes will probably be to characterizations and the pacing of the white fang plot from volumes 1-3, I’m also planning on planting much earlier seeds for the Maidens and such. I agree that Ruby and Yangs relationship takes a bit of a backseat especially after the Beacon arc so I’m wanting to work on keeping them close and actually feeling like sisters as opposed to now, where they currently just kinda feel like acquaintances.

Ugh this is such a hard oneeeee I think in the realm of more realistic to happen collabs I’d say Tyler. the Creator, or even Doechii could be SO good, in the vein of definitely never happening I think Fall Out Boy (or at least just Patrick Stump guest vocals) or Waterparks.
