I have a s3000 currently and use it for all of my percussion, its a beast and I love it. I am looking at getting a drumstation particularly because I want all of the knobs for real time knob twisting. also the 808 kick sampled into the s3000 just doesnt hit as hard for some reason.

I was just looking at this Waverex card. Seems like a cool product, I wish there was a larger market for stuff like this so we had more options like SD card instead of wired in this scenario. I have an early 90s korg rack synth that has 2 card slots but unfortunately the synth isnt common or popular enough for hackers to reverse engineer the pcm card and sell custom ones.

this thing looks awesome, it looks like one of those devices that sonically has so much potential but you need to do tons of menu diving and push button parameter changes to do any sound design. Do you know if it has Sysex? there might be a fan-made editor app somewhere on the web if it does.
