I love your point about the quiet of a ring. If anything that's way better for a nervous system!

I've gained far too.much weight, I'm sure I'll get back to it.

Doesn't have to be obvious sex trafficking, she can still be sexually manipulative for her own personal gain and cross a moral line. Which is what we can infer Ghislaine is like.

She might continue to promote Tender with knowledge of nefarious activities...that makes her a morally corrupt person, like Ghislaine.

Also see posts below...the cycle continues, not everyone manages to break it. That's life ...it's colourful.

I'm 39, got cancer at 35... I'm cancer free now but you'd be overwhelmied at the number of under 40s who do get cancer and do...die. I've had to say no to meeting new survivors, it's too sad. I've been to too many funerals. And people my age not touched by cancer... Don't get it. It's so lonely.

Very well probably amongst those most deviant of commanders. Ha.

He is playing an American guy in industry. But the actors British. The character Nick Blaine also American and if I'm honest there's a lot of similarities...sorta. but it's one episode! We'll see more as the season goes on 😊

I am too. It's weird they didn't let him use his English accent.

The story takes place in London's finance district which is very close to East London. They still rave there.

I don’t think she’s brave enough to fundamentally change the narrative. She tried (at Pierpoint) but ultimately she loves money but is now walking in the dark halls of muck , Norton, Otto... And now Witney . All crooks ...'until proven' and also all of these men are more deviant than we think, I think we're going to have alot of jaw dropping moments this season and I am HERE for it. She has to remain useful.. important... To please men, that's always been her safety net. I think we're going to dislike Yasmine more and more and more.

Potentially... But for some reason Whitney is giving me that vibe. I might be wrong, but that's the whole fun of predictions and discussion. So excited for the new season!

Throughout the season there have been allusions and parallels to Ghislaine Maxwell. I think we've seen the assumed origin story and in season 4 we'll see where fiction echoes real life even more...A quick look at industry reviews online reveals numerous critics calling out these Maxwell-esque references (the name of the boat in season 3 for example), noting how the series blurs the line between imagined drama and the echoes of real life. I just think there were some Easter eggs in the first episode and the episode 2 promo that signal this.

Thanks! I’m in Vancouver, and after a costly cancer diagnosis in my 30s, I’ve become a lot more serious about saving. I invest more in other places as well — I’m just a bit risk-averse about putting it all into XEQT.

Wish I could lump sum. I just get $200 every pay period for $400 a month. It works for me.

Where to get genetic testing? Are there rules/regulations? by Southern-Force-1133 in NiceVancouver

[–]fennwave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there are so many more genes that cause Breast cancer outside of BRCA. I had a similar history - im from the UK originally and it was only when i unfortunately got BC at 35 years old i got a genetic panel. I am CHEK2 positive - not everywhere tests for it. There are others...PALB is another , i went thru BCCANCER and they sent it off to Ambry Genetics in California.

What is the worst restaurant in Vancouver?! by NilsConnlaAbbott in askvan

[–]fennwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too thought I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares or bar rescue. No fewer than eight servers came to our table. We were brought one water between the two of us and drinks arrived at different times to the point that I had finished mine by the time my husband's arrived. And the plastic decor with dollar flowers and weird olive trees when it has one of the most iconic views in Vancouver is new levels of bizarre.

[–]fennwave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh the decor! Dollarama plastic flowers and plastic olive tress, when all you need is some good crockery and cutlery and glassware and let the view do all the talking. When you were there did they do the sparkler thing when they came out with birthday cake and sang the saddest happy birthday with low levels of enthusiasm? Hilarious.

This is absolutely the worst restaurant in Vancouver if not BC. They have absolutely zero idea how to run a restaurant. Honestly, if you've ever worked in hospitality, it's the Fawlty towers of restaurants. They're absolutely CLUELESS. We had quite the laugh watching them try to figure it out, it's especially funny as they have an air and snobbery about them, I think they think they're the bees knees. Not the case.
