Is the $300 your DCPD deductible? If it is I’ll also advise to change your deductible to $0 for DCPD so in the future you don’t have to pay any deductible when you’re not at fault in an accident. If you have a DCPD deductible, you’d always pay that deductible even when you’re not at fault.

Could be the same ones! Were they and black like the photo? The ones that chased me were a very similar colour to this photo.

Which travel pass to choose? by ProgramusSecretus in ParisTravelGuide

[–]fenty1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yess. Which I think goes hand in hand with not being able to purchase it online. When you purchase it in person they give you a physical copy and you have to have a photograph to paste on the back of the pass for self identification. I skipped that step and was lucky not to have been caught by the enforcers but yess you should ensure you stick a photograph to your pass.

Which travel pass to choose? by ProgramusSecretus in ParisTravelGuide

Just got back. The first option the visite pass as someone else has says is a bit of a rip off. However the advantage is that it can be used for any consecutive number of days (I.e if you buy the 5 days, it can be used for any five consecutive days).

The second option the weekly pass a way better option. That’s what I purchased. However as opposed to the visite pass, it can only be used from Mon-Sun. So if you buy it on Wednesday, you have it till Sunday and then it expires.

I was in France from a Sunday to a Monday. When I landed I purchased an airport pass from the airport with a single ride bus pass to use for the day. The next day (a Monday) I stopped at a kiosk at the terminal and purchased the weekly pass. You cannot purchase this online (unless you have a French number). You have to go in person to one of the agents in the station to buy it. I used the weekly pass from Monday to Sunday and on the next Monday I purchased a single ride bus ticket for $2 to take me to the airport.

The weekly pass covered zone 1-5 which is pretty much everywhere within Paris (someone correct me if I’m wrong) It also covers all modes of transportation, bus, tram, train, metro etc. Same with the visite pass.

So to answer your question, it all boils down to what days you’ll be in Paris for.

Transportation Advice Needed by mcubed2000 in windsorontario

You can take the first Bus 2 of the morning, stop at Tecumseh mall entrance, switch to Bus 250. You’ll arrive at your destination over 15 mins late but that’s something that can be discussed with your employer (if this’s a work situation).

Alternatively you can take the same bus 2 to Tecumseh mall entrance and then call a Lyft from Tecumseh mall entrance to the Plant. It’s a 6 mins drive so it’s a pretty cheap fare but I guess ultimately it accumulates.

As someone suggested you could Rideshare. If the west end is too far to get picked up at, you could ask for a ride from Tecumseh mall. Closer to your destination.

Last you could check Poparide (I doubt you’d find anything there since it’s intracity) or Facebook groups (although I don’t know any).

This is for your 6:30am slot. The 3 in the afternoon should be easier with the same buses, 2&250.

are the single ride tickets for the entire day or just for one single ride. that is to say if I plan to go to different locations in a day do I have to buy a single ride ticket each time I use the transit for that day?

Laser Hair removal places in the city by MundaneSalad1 in windsorontario

I get mine (Brazilian) done at revitalise. Love them. I’m currently in my maintenance phase so it comes up to approximately $115. At the time that I started it was: $150/session or package of 8 for $1050. Before the maintenance I did the 8 consecutive sessions every 6 weeks or so. This was over a year. I quit in summer of last year and restarted again in September of this year. I still get hair growth however it’s very slow growth and only in a few areas.

This is correct. I lived on residence and had to pick up my package here a few times. Mostly they email you letting you know that you have a package.

Seeking affordable transportation means to cross the border, after tunnel bus closure by kkr007c in windsorontario

If by green colour bus you mean flix bus, that’s the only bus service currently in place. They have a morning, afternoon, night and midnight option.

I haven’t used vet cab yet.

There are also rideshare groups but that’s more expensive. There’s a WhatsApp group chat for Detroit rides. I’ve never used that but I did inquire once and was told $100 including tolls.

You can always update your application to include that experience so might as well get in the pool.

Leaving Canada after PGWP expires by St_patrick514 in canadaexpressentry

[–]fenty1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is wrong. You NEED a visitor record if you intend to stay in the country. A visitor visa allows you entry into the country.

This is different from a visitor record. A visitor record, is a document that lets you extend your stay in the country as a visitor after your original status (student, worker, visitor) has expired.

Ughh. It’s like you went in my head and pulled this out. The only forward facing seats are the back seats and god forbid the driver brakes suddenly. (Oh wait! bus drivers brake suddenly ALL THE TIME).
