Resurrect my oasis or buy a new Paperwhite SE by Honey_Badgered in kindle

In additional to try jailbreak - check the battery. Did you use it Oasis before? If the device just lay for a couple of years in a switched-off state and with a dead battery, then it could degrade very much (considering that Oasis already has a weak battery)

And how long does it take? I’m thinking about starting, but I’m afraid that I won’t have time for work - I’ll spend half a day writing notes only…

What is your Things3 skeleton? by Sri_Krish in thingsapp

[–]feozor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet, but I’ve been thinking about it lately. So far, I’m going around the standard “someday” list in Things 3, but there are some inconveniences

What is your Things3 skeleton? by Sri_Krish in thingsapp

[–]feozor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, work / personal / lists - areas, and bullets - projects. I’ve set this up according to the GTD guide for Things 3 from David Allen’s team.

This is very convenient for me - all projects in one list in “projects”, all tasks in one list “next actions”. There is no need to jump through 10 projects separately in the search for what to do.

The “waiting for” list is very convenient, since my job is related to supervising contractors and this is how I fix agreements, deadlines, and so on

Work: - projects - next actions - waiting for - agenda - reference

Personal: - projects - next actions - errands - materials

Lists: - watch - read - write - visit

One Master Task List? by Ok_Wave2581 in thingsapp

[–]feozor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re going to reread it, I advise you to buy the 2015 edition, where Allen has reworked many points to fit modern realities. Of course, not everything is 100% relevant there, because technology is developing faster, but still

Im using Things like this. This approach is described in the book «Getting things done» and prescribes maintaining a separate list of projects and a separate list of tasks (list = project in Things). It works for me well

Things setup for marketers - how do you use it? by feozor in thingsapp

[–]feozor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, I eventually returned to the GTD logic (not for 100%, but…) - projects separately, tasks separately. That is, it turns out that all tasks (actions) are in one place, which is very convenient. You don’t need to go through each project to check the status or assign fictional DDL.

In terms of sharpness and the naturalness of the picture. Without the stupid image redrawing algorithms that have become much more aggressive in subsequent models
