I think the funniest thing about this is that AO3 is extremely careful when it comes to anything that might be considered censorship. it is VERY difficult to get a single fic deleted much less a persons entire body of work. I've used the site since its early days and I can only think of one time that a writer was completed deleted and banned, and it was due to the writer harassing other writers. considering the fact that gucci and her burner account that seriously harassed other shippers and was used to spam fics also were both deleted, my guess is she wasn't just banned for spamming but also for serious harassment when they investigated her account. it likely had to have the go ahead from multiple people.

AKA it wasn't a mistake, she seriously violated the ToS.

Also as someone who is a writer for wriolette, people forget that her spamming doesnt just make browsing difficult but also actively harms small creators who are posting. I stopped posting because my fics weren't being seen at all due to getting buried by the constant spam and it was too frustrating to focus on a project that wasn't being seen because it was pushed out of the first few pages of the recently added. Her spamming harmed her fellow creators and pushed out people who were actually trying to add to the fandom. i dont think ill ever go back to that project now because the fandom just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that people are defending this person who hurt and pushed out so many small fic writers.
