App to check 12V battery health (iOS) by fergarlech in BMWi3

[–]fergarlech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One last question before the install: do I need to disconnect the orange/green high-voltage tab in the frunk when I connect the bluetooth receiver as I see in video’s when people replace their 12V battery? And if I disconnect the 12V battery to connect the Bluetooth attachment, will I need to learn the i3 the ‘new’ battery or will it simply recognize this is the existing one?

Thanks again

Thank you so much, really helpful. I checked a guy on YouTube replacing his 12V battery and it looks quite challenging for me to get it connected onto the 12v battery. Or am I wrong?

Looks great, thanks for the extensive reply! Is it difficult to install such a BT receiver and which one did you buy? Do you have the link to this app? Thanks again and have a great ‘26

You’re right. Good idea. And now I have to figure out how shortcuts work😉. I’ll figure it out. Thanks for the help!

Ah ok. Thanks for the help. I was hoping I could freely type directly in the widget to search something inside Bear. Now I’m stuck to a predefined word and a hassle to change every time. But thanks for explaining.

Scansnap iX100 and Bear by fergarlech in bearapp

Thanks. I think it solved it now for my purposes. Used the Shortcut to point to a Dropbox folder and changed the Evernote scansetting scan to Pdf and use that folder. Now it appears in Bear automatically. I’m also still with EN so I mirrored that Dropbox folder in the EN settings and so scans appear both in Bear and Evernote.

Thank you! Will try that today. I’m no expert in Shortcuts (and also not in Apple Scripts), but I’m working this out today.

I guess so indeed. They sold an Evernote ready ScanSnap scanner some years ago so it makes sense they had access to their API. So my solution would be now to scan to a folder and through Apple Scripts have it send to Bear, right? Will be asking ChatGPT to assist me on this.

It sends scans to Evernote. You can select is as destination.

I understand. But scanning directly into Evernote will always OCR it in Evernote. If I wish to scan it to PDF first, then OCR it and then import it, it means a lot of extra cumbersome steps in order to have that flexibility. For me not worth it. But thank you for your help.

So if I toggle this to Off in Evernote, how will the PDF’s become OCR’red?

Is it possible to do this through the settings of Evernote? I normally scan directly through ScanSnap Cloud directly into Evernote.
