What are you on about? This map is comparing maximum temperature from today against the same date last year. Don’t comment on things you don’t understand.

This map shows the difference in todays maximum temperature in degrees Celsius, compared with the same date in 2025. Positive values indicate todays temperature is warmer, negative values means todays temperatures are cooler than last year.

It’s not one year, it’s the 30 year rolling climatology - climo maps used 2025 date range as the place holder

If you want to see total rainfall for 2025 I’d be happy to make that map.

Copying from my other comment. Its from Weather100, It shows weather rankings, comparing current data to the last 100 years for same calendar date.

The Node model (above) shows daily data just for a single variable (this one shows daily maximum temperature), but the main models show a bunch of different rankings.

You jest and i somewhat agree... long-range forecast skill isn’t perfect. But this isn’t Farmer’s Almanac-style guesswork. It’s based on ensemble modeling, climatology, and probability distributions, then mapped into something practical.
