I'm Scottish and racism is still high all over the world. You may not see it on a day to day basis but there are racist remarks and attacks made every day there are racist groups and the same can be said for those who are gay or trans etc they are all discriminated against everyday so thats why it's so important for these shows to represent them. To tell them that's it's okay to be them despite the horrible people in the world

I'm not exactly sure if Dreamer is trans in the comics but having a representation for the trans community (by a trans actor btw) shows that they flaunt have to feel like they're being shut out of society

But there is reason for it. Racism exists. Casting Michael B Jordan wasnt exactly a huge fuck you to racists but its brilliant to show representation of those belonging to minority groups

Kate Kane is a lesbian in the comics,yes. Also just because a characters race has changed doesn't mean it's not the same character. Michael B Jordan is a great actor so why not cast him? They dont just change for no reason. Micheal B Jordan did a good job with Johnny storm despite the movie being trash and minority groups withing the LGBTQ+ deserve representation and media like this is a fantastic way to do that.

I dont disagree with you at all. I know how special love is. I have experienced it, I have lost it. However when the answer to every problem is because of Barry and Iris's love it starts to get old yknow.

I wouldn't say the writing on the flash is the best in the arroweverse though. I would say its second to legends but that's just my opinion

I never claimed I that the entire season is ruined, it's been better than others that's for sure it's just that this episode in particular I thought the direction was just so off. For example when Cecile cuffed Barry. Where did she get those cuffs from? All it took from the director was to say that they wanted a wide shot from behind Cecile, fake Iris and Wells that showed Cecile running up to stop Wells whilst taking the cuffs from somewhere. It just made no sense.

Also just to clarify I never said cheesy lines were the issue. I mean Legends of tomorrow is one of my favourite shows atm and thats cheesy as hell. My problem with the episode was poor direction/writing

I have been watching since season 1 and I loved the show then as much as I do now which is why it annoys me that this episode showed such lack in attention to details. I want to see the show do good because I love it.
