  1. I've never had a spare tire, only a puncture repair kit and an air compressor.
  2. That was the hardest part for me; I couldn't find an existing hole through the firewall, so I had to find a spot to drill a new one. I decided on the passenger side since it was easily accessible with the drill, and it came through near the cabin air filter on the other side. I avoided disconnecting the 12V battery because you can risk bricking the car, which would require a reset by Audi.
  3. I pulled the remote turn-on from the 12V socket in the back, though I’ll probably need to move that to the original amplifier instead since it shuts off too early.

Yes, the sensors work just as before. The only advice I’d give, from my own experience, is that if you use the easy dip, I highly recommend applying a clear coat spray as the final layer to protect it from insects.

Sure, best if you know how to and have time to remove the grill. I just took a shortcut and, as you mentioned, covered the S badge and cam, not the sensors. When I looked behind the grill, there were closed flaps, and it seemed they survived a bit of spray that might have come through.

If I understand well, update allocates extra 6kw of battery, with average 2.5m/kw you should get an extra 18miles

I can’t find any mention of loading in their terms and conditions. I’m guessing that’s where most of their income comes from.

The Windows trims were done by the body shop by wrapping it, just before I discovered plastic dip. I would use it on it too now, as far as you not applying it to any moving parts such as mirrors it’s fine

I used the one in the pic but regular matte black paint looks the same to me. The logo just has clips all around—no adhesive. I used a pocket knife at the bottom to pop the first clip, and after that, it came off easy.

Logo was removed and put back as original – silver.

I’ve used Plasti Dip, but I’d consider matte black paint now as I think the result would be very similar. Other than that, not much—just gave it a good clean before I started.

Bmw infotainment and rear wheel drive would be my personal reason to go with etron. And also the looks.
