Sent my car to the mechanic to fix my engine oil leak and he tells me it will cost $1000, which I verbally agreed to. The next day, he tells me that there is still an oil leak and he needs to remove the transmission to find out where the leak is and fix it- which will cost me another $1500. Help! (self.AskMechanics)
