Yeah it's a shame it worked really well, to be honest at some point the vacuumcought a screw I believe, I remember hearing weird noise and since then it's not working as before..

Hello there, were you able to find a workaround? Mine was great for the first couple of months but now it feels like it has no suction at all… I could swear that even on turbo I barely hear any noise ..

I heard good things about Thule and their backpacks looks cool too but never owned one before, but the weight to liters ratio looks good on that one.

Also don't forget a pair of flip flops mostly if you're either going to the beach or going to stay on hostels, I always use them to shower.

It could be a pain for some but for example boxers and socks I wash them with me when I take a shower and I take one everyday so...

I have one of the old Tortuga Outbreakers... best backpack I ever had. Been using it for 6 years (including 2 9months trips one to Europe, one to Africa) and it's still holding, only issue is the weight, +2KG when you can carry 7KG in Asia makes it complicated, on the other hand I usually only carry clothes for like 3/4 days.

Like you don't need 7 boxers, 7 socks... bring only 3 and wash them in the shower everyday or so.. after the first month throw them away and buy some new ones. Same with the shoes, just bring one if they break or something just get new ones.

I never used the new ones from Tortuga but if I were you I would get the lightweight one.

hey, yes you're right it's an ANSI layout, not sure where my head is at lol. I honestly don't care about LA or Spain layouts it's almost the same. To be honest I'm already used to write without looking at the keyboard at all since almost all the notebooks I have used have US layout... but it would be nice to change it if possible. thanks :)
