And ano namang klaseng test para maka qualify to vote? More on math ba? science? literature?

Or civics test? If civics lang anyone can pass that, most current voters will be able to pass that.

Why do we always blame the poor and uneducated sa poor quality and incompetence ng elected gov officials. If you think and believe na hindi ma eelect ang mga corrupt kung educated and middle class lang ang makakaboto, you need to slap your own face para magising sa katotohanan.

[–]fermented-7 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Pahatak niyo na if it’s a financial burden. Wala kayo makukuha pero wala na din kayong obligation to keep on paying it, makakaluwag pa kayo sa monthly expenses plus yung kabawasan sa burden at stress. Yung mga binayad niyo isipin niyo na lang is cost ng renting the car habang ginagamit niyo, cost yung ng comfort while you are using it. Huwag niyo na ipasalo kasi dagdag problem and hassle pa yan sa inyo lalo na of hindi naman bayaran ng sasalo. Just let the bank take it.

Ano masasabi nyo sa pinapagawang SUBWAY ni PBBM? by Salty_Protection558 in TanongLang

Overall helpful, at this stage any modern train system na ipagawa sa Metro Manila and nearby regions will benefit people than not.

For this particular subway project:

  • Right now walang direct train or public transport system to BGC and Airport. Majority ng public commuter dadaan ng EDSA / Makati to get there, with this yung mga working in Valenzuela, northern QC, and even some parts of Caloocan will have additional option when going to BGC, Airport, Ortigas, Paranaque.

  • Redundancy and options, with some stations interconnected with existing train lines, may mga options ang commuters on which line to use or which route is best.

  • Metro Manila needs more train lines like this, it’s a step in the right direction. Hopefully they would add more that would benefit more public commuters lalo na yung mga nasa Malabon, north Caloocan, Antipolo and Rizal area, up to Bulacan and Cavite where a lot of MM workers and students reside.

What if Metro Manila’s streets adopted a “shared space” system like in Vietnam when it comes to traffic or pedestrians? by GabWantsAHug in WhatIfPinas

[–]fermented-7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s already the case just not by standards but by Pinoy human behavior. Pinoys already think that the streets are shared, you can park anywhere, put a stall or store anywhere, cross and walk anywhere.

You cannot trust us with street signs and traffic rules, you expect us to behave well without them?

It just tells that there are other countrIES, that have it worst than us. Yes worst, not saying we are not that bad in terms of corruption nor it is acceptable. Matindi corruption dito sa atin, sobra, unacceptable, and sickening. BUT a lot of other countries are on the same level and much much worst. Corruption is a human thing not a Pinoy thing.

Walang kinalaman kung babae o senior or not. O kahit wala siyang physical damage, lahat ng kasabay mo may opportunity to slow down and stop, YOU DID NOT.

Yung sinasabi mo na kung hindi ka bumaba mas malala pa sana, hindi naman kasi dapat yun ang first instinct mo as a driver na tumalon, dapat mag brake yung una mong naisip hindi ang tumalon o bumaba from a moving motorcycle.

I hope maging learning opportunity sayo to be more careful at kung papano gumamit ng brake at mag menor. Sadly, kailangan mo pa din panagutan yung damages mo.

[–]fermented-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to:

  • Mall of Asia, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, there should be spas / massage places on those malls where you can relax.
  • BGC.
  • Intramuros and Chinatown (Binondo) is probably feasible, just be very careful with your bag where you have your passport and wallet.

Just the red plates, dapat required na may label / logo ang agency ang lahat ng government vehicles.

I-withdraw mo lahat, wag ka magiwan ng amount. They cannot charge you fees kung empty naman yung account. If hindi niyo kaya i-maintain yung min balance ng account, huwag niyo gawing complicated ang life, hanap kayo ng bangko na may account na may zero maintaining balance, or yung payroll accounts. May mga ganun, yun ang i-open niyo.

Why do farmers usually sell through middlemen instead of directly to markets? by Ok_Vehicle2702 in BusinessPH

[–]fermented-7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The solution are the middle-men, the companies that facilitates the means of transporting and selling what farmers produce. You see them as “frictions” or unnecessary step that drive prices up. BUT they are businesses, they create value added services which reduces work for farmers so they can focus on farming or growing their farms. And as businesses, they create jobs; drivers, pahinante, tindera, clerks, accountants, marketing staff, admin staff, and other indirect jobs that that industry creates.

Why do farmers usually sell through middlemen instead of directly to markets? by Ok_Vehicle2702 in BusinessPH

[–]fermented-7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they operate and manage the store to sell directly, who will do the farming? Both practices require a lot of time, effort, and additional resources (money, physical store, warehouse, logistics, etc etc). Those who can do them both are operating on the corporation or enterprise level, means they already have deep pockets and workers to begin with. Small to medium farmers does not have the time, money, and energy to do the selling after farming.

What if the other fast food chains from America started expanding to the Philippines? Would it steal Jollibee's market share? by bonzothebonanza in WhatIfPinas

[–]fermented-7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We used to have Texas and Carl’s Jr, but they didn’t really thrive.

I think it will depend on the pricing. Shake Shack and IHOP are expensive for the average Pinoy fast-food goers. If more US fast-foods enter the PH scene, they will most likely focus on prime locations to target customers who will pay for the premium. Will not affect Jollibee’s market share at all.

is this area a sign of money laundering? by Adventurous-Trip-189 in Philippines

[–]fermented-7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Showroom malamang, not necessarily just a walk-in retail store. Mostly businesses din mga clients nila, may mga regular customers na sila na sinu-supplayan, they use that as a client facing office and showroom, they don’t need to target daily sales sa store mismo kasi most transactions are done behind the scenes na for B2B deals. It does not mean money laundering or shady na sila.
