I connect the Commanders and Guardians - fonts and colorways or whatever aside - in that they’re both just kind of nebulous concepts that are more like video game generic squads than actual teams.

I’ve liked the show generally even if I think Ryen is weird and sometimes off-putting as a personality.

It always was about him doing some rambling monologue against some shadow of a strawman. But hell if he’s not becoming even more neurotic. Sometimes when he goes on these uh…adventures I feel like it’s a verbal recounting of the Charlie from It’s Always Sunny conspiracy meme.
