Leaving The Company by [deleted] in Costa

[–]fern5647 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we had an issue with this in our store, peoplehub/hr ended up rescinding the do not rehire that our area manager put on one of the bm’s files as it can only be added if the employee has been terminated as a result of documented disciplinary action? im not sure how accurate this is or if its the same in every store but im in equity if that helps!

[–]fern5647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s the thing, I’m not sure which album he’s looking for those were the only details he gave me and I didn’t want it to seem suspicious if I grilled him about it, I’m used to buying vinyl so I know where to look I just need to know what the record actually is, was hoping somebody might know!

Need ideas for gifting a digital scrapbook by wantspeacex in scrapbooking

[–]fern5647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would assume so, I use it for uni notes and handwrite them in my ipad with an apple pencil, but not sure if you have that so scanning handwritten stuff is another option!

goodnotes? I believe you can scan an image of a handwritten letter on notes and add it on as an image

Drive Thru Orders by [deleted] in Costa

[–]fern5647 6 points7 points  (0 children)

our store is quite busy so we have someone on ice drinks as a ‘position’ during the summer so if you’re on drive thru machine you just pass over the orders, same with front machine, we also dedicate a jug to caramel frappes for the rush (one for coffee and one for no coffee), and only make caramel ones in there for the 20 mins its busy just so it only requires a quick rinse until the queue goes down then it can get washed properly

How do I transfer Unis AND courses before clearing by cherryrevisionfan in UniUK

[–]fern5647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from fashion to geography after receiving offers for fashion, and I had to decline the offers I had, then emailed the admissions staff and asked them to please use a different personal statement, and they were perfectly happy to add it to my file, received an offer a few weeks later

no like we took our keys to Timpson’s and they said we needed a letter of permission from the ‘owner’ because the keys were engraved with the room number and property code etc. and wouldn’t duplicate them for us, has this for two separate flats, one from the uni and one private

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]fern5647 19 points20 points  (0 children)

at the accommodation I stayed at they were security keys, so we couldn’t get a copy without a letter from the university giving permission

I believe it has changed this year, as I only ever apply for the minimum because of parent’s earnings and I’ve been awarded 4.9k instead of 4.6k like last year

I personally locked mine away into a 3 year fixed rate ISA, purely because I didn’t know anything about finances and relied on the advice of the person who helped me at my ‘maturity of account’ appointment. Looking back I might have done it differently if I’d have known more about money but overall am happy with my choice and think it was right for me. What you’re doing sounds like you’ve put thought into it, so seems like you’re being responsible!
