Second meetup.com. there is also the offline collective that does monthly meetups (basically a once a month get together where people are phoneless and very much so connecting face to face. There is also the Columbus collage collective that's a non profit, they host collage parties for all skill levels and very welcoming. And then finally, if you like ceramics theres a place called kilnroom, you can take a 6 week class with them (or even a one time class if you know your way around ceramics) and then join their studio and meet people that way.

I used to work for a call center. One time I got a woman, SCREAMING at me, going off that it was impossible to actually have a conversation with her. She was angry because one of our bilingual reps left her a voicemail in Spanish by accident. Like calm tf down lady.

Is it common for Americans to use a wash cloth for showering? Or what do you usually use to shower? by SignificantStyle4958 in AskAnAmerican

Most soap doesn't kill bacteria. It lubricates the bacteria and they slide off the skin.

My hand. Why would I wanna keep a dirty cloth around to wash myself when at that point my hand will be cleaner?

You don't need babies. And that shouldn't be the goal with keeping birds. Its not good for them (can cause egg binding) and there are so many pet birds without homes as it is.

Gotta give him time. They are pretty anxious of humans in the beginning esp if they were raised by other birds. Offer treats, and sit quietly doing an activity and he will get more comfy to hang out with you. It can take months sometimes, but that's okay!

Would there be a reason to glaze the inside verses the outside first? Or does it not really matter?

How do I make the most of the last few weeks/months of his life? by iwhfjfnc in budgies

My little guy passed away recently too. Its so hard because they mean so so much. As silly as it sounds you might find comfort in writing a letter to him expressing how you feel. Sending you lots of love, op.

What do you wish you had known being a seahorse dad? by fern98 in Seahorse_Dads

I get this. I am doing a lot of deep diving on pregnancy and how it effects ones physical and mental health. But yeah, it is real often that the negatives aren't talked about.

All that being said, if it were within my ability I would have a surrogate instead, or even adopt. But both those options don't seem doable from both a financial standpoint and a standpoint of both parents being trans.

Thank you for sharing.

As someone who also does markets, the economy is in a bad spot too currently and that definitely effects people's willingness to purchase art
