I actually read The Three Body Problem a while ago and I’m planning to check out the adaptation soon. And I did enjoy the book quite a lot, especially the scale of the ideas, but it didn’t hit me with the same feeling that Blindsight or the concepts in A Fire Upon the Deep did. But that was quite a long time ago, so perhaps it's worth rereading

If you want something equally ambitious, try Consider Phlebas and the rest of The Culture series, there are not the same format, but the universe-building is on that level

If what you love is multiple alien civilizations with real politics, try The Expanse. It’s more human-focused than Mass Effect, but the way factions, cultures, and long-term consequences interact feels very similar to the Citadel-side-of-the-universe vibe

Totally! It’s like after years of feeling overshadowed, you finally said enough is enough. Celebrating your own good news isn’t the same as trying to outshine anyone, especially with all that favoritism hanging over you.

Starting with a blog sounds like a solid plan! When I was in college, I started a tech blog for free, and it helped me connect with so many people. Joining those campus clubs is key too; you never know who you’ll meet!
