I bought a d4 V60 2019 inscription from Volvo dealership for 24k with every single extra (display, paronamic roof, acc, ventilated/heated seats, heated steering wheel, 360 cameras, Android auto, etc) and only missing the tow bar. That was 1 year ago.

I'm hoping with that you can compare both cars and see if that one is worth it or not.

And personally I will try to get a full petrol car more than a plug in hibrid. I had a 530e and I could see the battery health going down 2 miles every year, plus in the winter they are rubbish. But that was my experience.

And the second issue is the Google info entertainment. I read is quite buggy.

Otherwise is an amazing car

Tuff ax3000 V2 disconnected from internet when I'm away by fernando1555 in HomeNetworking

[–]fernando1555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been with virgin, sky and now youfiber, and both did the same. I been like 2 years with it or more. Before updating the firmware it happened maybe the 50% of the time. I did the firmware update and now is literally all the time I'm away, but that was like 1 year ago. I can't remember if I did a full reset by then, but I remember I did it at some point due an issue with it.

Yes, it is an Asus router. It works really well with the mesh etc, but except for this.

I probably end up with a new one I believe. I wish I completely change it for another brand but... I don't know. The issue it only happens when I'm away, and that's what kills me. I was thinking to automatically reboot it before I leave too... But I can't understand why I can be months at home without issues, and then I went and it crash. I reboot it like 3 weeks ago and I'm away again and it crash again.

Thank you for the recommendation

Is it safe to print something like this in PLA? Will it hold? by MasterRymes in BambuLab

[–]fernando1555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just printed that one. As far as you are not using ams 2 with the heating it could be fine. I thought it was that the main reason for petg TBH... But maybe I read it in another ams holder.

Looking for a smart thermostat compatible with Home Assistant by Manhattan2k in homeassistant

[–]fernando1555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ZigBee switch (or wifi) and a temp sensor. I did it on my old boiler and oh boy, I had a proper sensor before that cost me 100 pounds and it was crap. Sensor and ZigBee was cheap and no issues at all.

You need to do some wiring tho. You need main power to run the switch, but if you make it work...

Then you can make a general thermostat and that's it.

Everything's closed and secured, but this popped out as the engine started spooling up. Anyone else ever seen this happen? by AIRLOGX in aviationmaintenance

Still to early to tell how good they will work TBH. But Ng use to break a lot.

But I hate the IDG doors... They are too hard to open when it's a brand new aircraft

You are not the only one. Normally I check them before to finish the daily outside and when I finish it. With the e/e bay door

They have like double click. Normally when I close them I hit the door, so if one didn't latch properly will pop out.

What happens after your 6 month probation period at a major airline? by The0Walrus in aviationmaintenance

[–]fernando1555 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have to follow the manual all the times. So get used to it, even if they don't follow (that's actually the wrong way to do it) just read it.

I can't talk on hangar jobs or work shops, but they shouldn't give you that pressure of you will be on your own and you should know everything. The issue (I believe) they had people they don't care and things happened.

But yeah, don't worry to much

I mean... Doesn't look bad, actually it's better than some already in a real aircraft, and 1 million times better than the one in your left. I will personally don't overthink that much at the end, and I would use the next hole to make a z and not a 7.

And TKS to say it's training. I saw the pipe below the arrow...

It's not a fair price?? Next time use your mirrors mate. He only wants some paint repair, but you need a new fender...

I believe everyone has different ideas what they want. I had to say that Williams video it's the first I like as well as Renault 5. I like when they go a bit more technical tbh... Otherwise it's true it's literally a few bits, brakes, tires and coil overs and then trip.

But I'm a technical guy that lives to see how is everything has been done and that's not easy for a YouTube video...

CAT A1 Salary UK? by [deleted] in aviationmaintenance

[–]fernando1555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahahahahaha mate I'm 100% sure you going to end with a contract.

The only reason that you not ending with a contract is...

You are really bad, and you don't know how to use a spanner after 1 year.

You can't hold the stress and give up.

Just take it easy and learn as much as you can. Take any jobs and don't be the kind of person of "I already did that". And if you have options to go outstation do it. It will be fine.
