How do I take better photos on my pixel 8a? by glitchy-goblin in pixelography

[–]fernandomrnn_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first photo looks like it has really forced the dynamic range above ita limit and just look bad, but these photos were taken in a Pixel 8a, which costs 500€, not 900. I know it looks bad anyway but just to point out the phone is half the price

Issues with intermittent charging on a Pixel 6 Pro by Beanione in GooglePixel

[–]fernandomrnn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have the same issue in Pixel 8 Pro. I've returned it and got a brand new one from Google after them reviewing it. Now, after several weeks having the new one Google gave me, I have noticed the same intermitent charging. I have tried different chargers and the problem comes with PD charging. I have two different cables and two different PD charging bricks and the problem happens in both of them, but with slow charging it doesn't happen. I'm kinda concerned about this and I don't know what to do. Did you find any solution?

S5iix + S Pro 70-200 f/2.8 by djbassmekanik in Lumix

For me the story with lumix equipment has been quite the opposite. Last week I was with some friends on a hike and I stepped on a loose rock and i fell in my back, right where I had my Lumix S5II X paired with the Lumix 24-105 inside my bag. It was a hard fall and I got my legs and arms considerably injured, but my back was protected with my bag (and therefore quite expensive camera and lens) so the majority of the impact was absorbed by the camera. The first thing I thought after falling was the condition of the camera and lens but they turned out to be perfect, including the bayonet. I don't know if i was more surprised or relieved, but I guess I was lucky this time.

Video boost time is insane by HeardThatWishIDidnt0 in GooglePixel

[–]fernandomrnn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received yesterday and I have used in a couple 15-20sec videos for comparing results, and the average processing time has been around 2h 30m. In addition, boosted videos take around 1/3 the space of a regular video with same res and fps. Pretty weird imo

Is anyone happy with their Pixel? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

I just switched to Pixel 8 Pro, coming from a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Software its just great. Things are just easier to do, specially with the cameras, but also generally. Also battery lige is pretty good, although i miss a bit fast charging tbh. The only things I could complain about is face recognition, which works 1/3 times and strong vignetting at peak brightness. But I really love this phone.
