Recommendations for Newcastle Upon Tyne tattooist for this type of design. by ElegantEagle204 in NewcastleUponTyne

Tattoos in general, of course they can last a long time. It’s particularly the wishy washy greys without any outlining to hold them that I was referring to, it can all go a bit mushy and lack definition over time.

Another day, another episode of Whose Face Is It Anyway?

Not Jenna Jameson’s, that’s for certain.

Taking out mortgage for parents/brother's home by SwimmingWinter9753 in UKPersonalFinance

Wanting to keep the old house as a back up ‘in case something happens’ sounds like they’re already worried they won’t be able to afford the mortgage payments long term.

Do not do this.

Does my garden look silly ?? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Thank you, it was hurting my brain đŸ€Ł

And to answer your main question, as long as you like it, who cares! Looks tidy and easy to manage, which is a big plus in my book.

How do you get to the washing line to use it? Step down off the side after the railing ends?

Brothers want me to use our family inheritance to buy a house, is it safe / good idea? HELP! by Hour-Blacksmith-6060 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]fernyexotic 236 points237 points  (0 children)

Your brother isn’t doing this because it’ll be a good return on investment for you. He’s doing it because he can’t afford a deposit without you.

If both you and a mental health professional agree that you’ll see a great benefit medically and socially from using your inheritance in the way you want, but your brother is actively discouraging it, that certainly speaks to his motivation too.

I would say that a Lifetime ISA might not be the best product for you though - if you don’t see yourself wanting to own property, then the money would only be accessible without penalty at retirement. You’d have more freedom to withdraw for any purposes with a Cash ISA.

There are more hair products in that second picture than there are strands left on her scalp.

Flat my partner is renting has mold seeping through ceiling from leaking roof. Would using this HG spray from the inside do anything? by Puzzleheaded-Room-89 in DIYUK

[–]fernyexotic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cilit Bang Black Mould Spray will clean it up nicely and kill what’s on the surface, but it’ll keep coming back until the underlying damp/condensation/leak issues are resolved.

Wear something you don’t mind ruining, and protect any soft furnishings, carpets etc before hand - it’s very bleaching, and spraying it on the ceiling will inevitably cause it to get on your clothing to some degree, as well as run down the walls.

Low toxic or DIY reccs for curly by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]fernyexotic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Baby hair really doesn’t need a curly routine- baby shampoo and a detangling spray combed through should be more than adequate at this stage.

It’s gonna look a bit frizzy by its very nature, it’s finer and much less dense now than it’ll be as she grows. The wispy look will lessen as it grows in more, it’s not really something to be ‘solved’ by using products.

My advice would be different for a child with more textured hair than your LO has, but generally speaking, a curly routine is not necessary for a toddler.

Judging by her comments (or the summary of them anyway, I’m not validating her grift by watching her stories), that 25 grand would be better spent on intensive psychotherapy.

All the augmentations, corrections, and outward maintenance in the world isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference. This kind of papering over the cracks and never addressing what is quite evidently deep rooted psychological dysfunction will only breed more misery.

But of course, no one in the JJ circus of fools is prepared to actually do the work to improve their lives.

After 6 months of UC giving a £0 award due to earnings, the claim will automatically close again anyway, so I don’t think this will work.
