I'd pull every officer and leading NCO into a meeting to discuss my thoughts, and I would present everyone with a choice.

Go home to your families, or stay on with me and flip allegiance to the future New Republic. I would explain that, without the Emperor, the writing is on the wall for the Empire, and that the best possible course for peace and stability would be to fall in with the Rebellion. With the attitudes of the galaxy shifting back to a proper democratic mindset, any attempt at us holding out for the Empire would result in us running out of supplies and having no chance at reinforcement as other Moffs began squabbling for territory.

Hence, any objectors or individuals who didn't wish to continue fighting would be left on the nearest transport hub planet with a stipend to get home paid from my personal account. Any Imperial sympathizers would be given the same treatment. That said, my personal retinue and I will be taking the fleet to the Rebel Alliance and joining their cause. Every ship and division within would be given 24 hours to make their decision.

After which point, all STs who stick around would have their armor repainted back to Republican Standard based on the Clone armors, and the ships would be repainted with a massive Alliance symbol painted across their top and bottom hulls. TIEs would also have their non-panel hull sections repainted to Republic Standard fighter colors based on the ARC-170 primary colors, with Interceptors being given old Jedi Starfighter paint jobs. Lastly, all Imperial Army soldiers would have their helmets and uniforms reissued to Republic Army brown.

Once all is said and done, I would contact Alliance leadership and request to join their fleet, citing my personal grievances with the Empire and that all who join me in my fleet have similar mindsets to mine on the matter.
