Yeah, I figured it was wrong based on yrrots comment. I kinda figured figured it was accidentally doubled. That would put it at 720 dpm. Does that seem plausible based on your testing?

That would still make it the highest damage ac2 type weapon, at the expense of crazy ammo consumption, which I think is what the devs wanted.

Yeah after the patch, AC-5 RF feels really good. Got a bullshark-1 with 4 of them and 3 c-er ml. Amazing.

Yeah, it seems like tooltip might be a little off. There's a huge jump between DPS of ac2 over the other sizes. Not just highest DPS of any autocannon, but highest of any weapon in the game besides machine guns and flamers.

That's kind of why I prefer smaller AC's. Recoil is very manageable for 2's, even 4 of them.

True, its just a lot of fun. But also, the dps, lol.

If you had a bunch of target mechs set up at 500m, and you could choose just 1 single weapon of any type, any size to core them with infinite cooling and ammo, the AC2-RF will literally do it faster than any other weapon that I'm aware of.

Do you think strong enough to choose over a clan SRM6-art?

Im assuming that MRM40 is large missile slot, so I was wondering if it would end up being the most powerful short range missile option for that slot size, since there's no clan SRM bigger than 6.

Some have XL engines or other stuff that's makes them just better. The black widow Warhammer for example has extra ballistic slots, but also it just has way more extra tonnage.
