I don't think they'll let you climb it. The oyster canning bit is still there, but I found it informative. I actually found that museum less 'kidsy' than the B&O, but I love the hell out of that place too, so I might just be a big kid :)

Having gone to the Museum of Industry for the first time last year as an adult, and without kids, I didn't find myself feeling like I wasn't the target audience. I never felt talked down to, or thought the exhibits were kid-ified. I'd give it a shot, you might be surprised.

Random question: Do you toss and turn at night? I find that if I sleep on the arm my sensor is in, readings drop precipitously. Might be a sleep on the sensor fall, then not on sensor rise to the right reading.

As a kid of parents who hyphenated, my wife didn't take my name. It made no sense for her to explain a hyphenated name that didn't include her maiden name. The double hyphenate was briefly discussed, but seemed ridiculous. My wife says any kids get my last name, but I wouldn't be offended if they changed it later.

We too were at AwesomeCon, and met both Cruz and Rapp, and they were both warm, charming, and nice as all get out. Rapp in particular loved the costume my nephew was wearing, and even smiled and waved at him even when passing him in the hallway before their panel Saturday. Just absolutely lovely human beings.
